Why do folks keep on looking for the silver lining? The Evo as known before is
pretty much over.

The Evo is dead. Long live the Evo!
Why do you keep insisting your viewpoint? Everybody already saw what you typed. Lame *** Subaru troll.

Hey, Vigo. You don't have to agree with anybody here. But you do not have to get on a personal attack. Is it something in the new Evo that really bother you but you are trying so desperately from admitting?

Anyway, I will ignore your response from now on. Peace.

I think everyone got your point, nongan, the evo is heavy, soft, ugly and not living up to your expectations. Were you planning to get one anyways? If not then why are you whining? It will be nice if you stop being a troll, we are just trying to have fun here

Your existence is what is bothering me you irritating little parasite. If the Evo X turns out to be crap, I won't care. I'll buy something that's better. I'm loyal to no brand.

Reminds of the car I traded in for my Evo, a WRX Sadly, the new WRX is more of a disappointment than the Evo X will ever be. Hopefully Subaru doesn't blow it with the new STI as well.

Sorry that I choose to drive cars that are not for the weak hearted Vigo...Like I said before...I will take a compliment from a guy on the car I drive rather than have a chick say..."cute car"...I swear if a female ever said that to me...I'd sell it in a heart beat...Its always better to have them wonder about what so special about a car...I'll give you that much though...mitsu is a company who is there for the profit...but honestly the enthusiast are the ones getting the middle finger here while mitsu has a hope and a dream to cater to a more wider crowd with the new X...well its just that a hope and a dream...Just because its a newer model does not make the car better...

I remember when the 05 Mustang was about to come out...I swear everyone on stangnet.com was excited and 95% of current mustang owners wanted one or would consider getting one over the pervious model...same was with the new vetter...heck even as I recall...vette owners even said that the new mustang design beat the vette design...that says a lot when a car is $20K less than the other...don't ya think?...this is not the case here on eVo M...its more like 30% if that of VIII and iX would trade it in for the X...majority of the praises come from people who don't even own an eVo...if you don't own one...you just don't get it...you don't get the thing that irks us about the X...and the disappointment it is...I know I will not be getting one...even though I could...

reading the article and listening to what edmunds has to say about the X makes me want to wait for the new STI and maybe jump over to the scooby camp.

You do realize that the last hardcore Evo was the Evo VI. Everything went downhill from there. They became heavier, slower, and softer.

...Like I said before...I will take a compliment from a guy on the car I drive rather than have a chick say..."cute car"...I swear if a female ever said that to me...I'd sell it in a heart beat...Its always better to have them wonder about what so special about a car

Wow, you're that insecure? Lame.

...I'll give you that much though...mitsu is a company who is there for the profit...but honestly the enthusiast are the ones getting the middle finger

That's the way business works. Just deal with.

here while mitsu has a hope and a dream to cater to a more wider crowd with the new X...well its just that a hope and a dream...Just because its a newer model does not make the car better...

Just because you said so does not make it so. Do you actually think you know better than Mitsubishi's marketing campaign?

Now you just pulling numbers out of your ***. It sounds like the Evo X hurt feelings.

This thread is frickin hilarious! The X bashers and apologists, the STi nut swingers, the naysayers and the optimists! It's one big happy Evo family!

Anyways, I can't wait for this new X to come out. Having owned basically every year DSM and driving a IX regularly, it seems the X is going to handle like a beast right out of the box. Just because you don't need to take it to a driving school, doesn't mean it isn't going to be fun to drive.

To put it in perspective, there are many factors why it is heavy, slow, etc... One of which is being YOUR government! You think that Mitsubishi wouldn't LOVE to build the Evo X using the same government restrictions it had in 1989 when it released the 4G63 in the GSX ? You bet your *** it would! That was almost 20 years ago! Times change, and the government comes out with stricter rules and safety regulations for new cars. It's a delicate balance that car manufacturers play... But all you see is Mitsubishi giving the enthusiast the middle finger. I'm sure thats exactly what they had in mind when they designed the X.

You people can ***** and complain all you want about the Evo X and how it is or is not a real Evo, but to me.. this forward progress and change is EXACTLY what the EVOLUTION is all about.
