Why is it so bad that Mitsubishi is trying to appeal to mass market? They need to make money you know?

Its sad but true, they have given the hardcore evo community the finger, well kinda, until we know what the 4B11 is capable of. At least now the evo has the yaw thingy.

you guys forget, the VI TME is the greatest Evo ever made still. The VII, VIII, and IX were the slow decline

That's true. In other parts of world the CT9A Evo is considered overweight, having to much techno gadgets, and slow compared to the Evo VI.

Two trim levels will comprise the initial offerings for America. The GSR is the base model, and it's equipped with an all-new, stronger five-speed manual transmission and cast-aluminum 8.5-by-18-inch Enkei wheels. The more expensive MR model gets more acoustic insulation, HID headlights, Bilstein dampers and the long-awaited twin-clutch transmission. The MR also features a useful reduction in unsprung weight, as two-piece Brembo brake rotors are each lighter by 2.9 pounds while the spidery forged-aluminum BBS wheels shave 2 pounds from each corner.

So the GSR model will not have HID'S?!! That's horrible!

Am I the only who really likes the seat height in the evo? I like that when i look down I see the road directly ahead of me.

All you guys just stop crying dam. I see so many fan boys whining about there Evo 8-9s and Evo Xs also. Listen no one no what the cars does at the moment and well if its faster in the twisties well um its more of a complete car, straight line isnt everything.
Plus if you are a Mitsu fan then them gainin money off this car to improve all there cars including the Evo would be something you want to happen. This whole Lancer line might be the one that gets Mitsu going in the green and who knows what the RS model holds and any other Variant Mitsu decides to throw at us.

STOP CRYING, lol. no offense. Evo 4-6 holds the Championships for best Evos. Hey my opinion

Two out of two reviews say X is soft, heavy, less lively, less involving, less enjoyable.
Why do folks keep on looking for the silver lining? The Evo as known before is
pretty much over.

The Evo is dead. Long live the Evo!
