the 1st time you posted that it got deleted prob due to the mod still posting up pics but I saw it
this time you posted the same message but you left out where you said you still call bull$hit
I dunno what's your problem but this guy was nice enough to post up pics then go back and snap another 40 of what we think might be a US spec EVO MR
Ok guys
Good news. The MR is coming to the USA for sure. We will see it some time in June of 2005 and they will make only 2000 units for the US market. Now you are asking yourself how I knew that. Today in SoCal Evo meet in Mitsu they announce it. One of Mitsu big Managers told us that he started to receiving all the specs and info about the MR already.

Alright, so if someone knows why it "sucks" or what the brits hate about it, let us know.
Also, forget all the BS about how "never use it" and "don't need it" and "experts on dirt rally courses don't use it" and all that BS. I'm not interested in the opinions I've heard a hundred times by people who don't own an AYC evo, so stifle all that C#$P and just let me hear from someone who knows about the brits' take on it or why it is turning out to be a bad thing from those who actually DO have it.It'd really be nice to not want it since we probably won't get it
man we should have a post stickied on evo general/future models "DO NOT POST THIS ****ING LINK, IT'S BEEN BROUGHT UP MORE THAN 500000 AND EVERY EVOM MEMBER SAW IT BY NOW"

As for why "the Brits" hate it, they don't. It's usually a case of the minority kicking up a stink, typically driving an older model Evo, are rally drivers in disguise where they go over rocks the size of Jupiter etc. What the AYC WILL do, however, is bring up the maintenance cost since it's really an electronic diff. In exchange for that you'll get some pretty amazing traction.
Just go here and do a search on AYC and you'll get an idea on how they feel about it.

MyCre8n=Evlshn REALLY said, "aluminum sunroof and the improved block".
AFAIK, the MR doesn't have a sunroof, not to mention that a sunroof is usually glass, not aluminum.
Arrival in June 2005 would be perfect timing for my purchase.
.....Newbie Post......
Need any new pics of the MR? I'm getting ready to return from Tokyo in a couple of days and took a bunch of shots at one of the local dealers. Got the nice catalogue and all.
Its been a fun trip.
I'll get the pics up on my server for viewing in the next 24 hours or so if anyone is interested.
Cheers,
Hash.
