Sorry guys,

This is the best I could do...

2005 LANCER EVOLUTION MR 17
2005 LANCER EVOLUTION RS 4
2005 LANCER EVOLUTION VIII 12

PRICELINE G = MR
PRICELINE A = RS
PRICELINE B = VIII

Shipment Information

Still a few left for reservation @ MSRP. I'll be out of town for about a week. If you're interested, ask for Joe Hill. He'll take care of you.

Drove the MR today...unbelievable, ride is hugely improved, low-end power is much better, and the ride is MUCH better without giving anything up in the corners. Drove back to back with an 04 GSR and it is like night and day!

Bought an 2005 RS on Monday. It is without doubt the best all around car I have driven. Paid about $30000 after all tax, title and registration fees. I have not driven the MR, and no doubt it is a better car, but I am guessing with all the fees, it will be around $40000. So for the $10000 extra, the only thing of significance I think I would gain is a six speed tranny. I think I will stick with the RS. But that is just me.

Sorry. I know some of the guys that bought 04's and 03's will be disappointed, but I have to give the hats off to the people at Mitsu that put the MR together, I know some will say it is not a true MR, but it is a very solid improvement. Not to mention that the GSR benefits from the better low-end punch too.

OK, so you paid $30,000 out the door for an '05 RS. I paid $28,500 out the door for an '04 RS last week ($26,100 plus 8.25% CA sales tax and licence fee). What did you get for the extra $1,500? I know you got an aluminum roof that saves some weight. Does the '05 RS have the same 5 hp bump that the MR gets, to 276 crank hp? Anything else? Thanks.

Sheez, for $1500 bucks he will get a LOT.

It is worth it for that type of dough..

If anyone's interested, I'm selling an 04 RS with only 1,200 miles on it. Here's the link to my ad:

Yeah, according to the Mitsubishi website, all Evos get the hp and torque bump. The new RS also comes with the new electronically actuated active center differential that can switch between "tarmac" "gravel" and "snow" modes, and a gauge cluster with boost, oil temp and voltage. It also comes with an aluminum roof. http://media.mitsubishicars.com/Mode...er%20Evolution
