However, it could be very well before summer time. They have barely released the 2004 models. What businessman in the right state of mind would overlap the 2004 production line with 2005's? -Hmmm...... Once again, I tip my hat for all your efforts in bashing, but I go by the word of facts and simple paper that comes from trees.
MR ALL THE WAY BABY!! The RS? -I'm personally not too sure about. Unless you plan on racing for money up the ying-yang and going to tracks on a regular basis, I would definately go for the Mitsubishi Racing version, hands down. ;D GOOD EVO'ing TO ALL!!

was like you, but the Santa Monica dealer sucks. There are many threads about price gouging, warranty denial, etc. A search will reveal that. Moreover, I was specifically told that there was no such thing as an RS and that even if there was it would not be released in the United States. Of course this meant I should just take one of the many 03's they still had in stock.
I guess dizzigital could be right... What’s that saying about a broken clock?

I'd like to get an RS or MR depending on what the final specs are and whats available. My RSX is up on lease in December. The local dealer is horrible. Anybody in the industry want to sell me an 05?

---> Production will in fact start in '04. During both Summer and Winter! Japan get's their '05 models in January to March because the WRC Rally will be off season. Which means, just like all other technological items, we will be receiving the MR after them. POWER TO THE EVO!

The Evo production schedule just does not fit that very well.
The release of new WRC cars rarely happen at the beginning of a season anyway.
It was an easy choice for me. I drive an RS because the MR ain't here yet!
There were only two Evo's available in my market-both RS, one red one white. The white one sold in a day. I bought the other one immediately.
Is it just me, or is the RS in short supply. What are the production numbers?

MR still has the 6 speed over the RS its also got lots of things that make it a more comfortable car to drive and with the closer gear ratios it would smoke the RS Road and track quoted the 0-60 time on the MR to be 4.3 and quarter to be 12.9 thats way faster than the RS plus its got A/C power windows and all the other "comfortable" things that some people really like on the Evo.

Here they come!
