EcuTek boost control?

For mods I've got a buschur turbo back, a K&N drop in, perrin EBCS, the tune, and 42 draft designs gauge panel (boost, oil, volt). The car made 323awhp and 300awtq on Topspeeds dynojet.
BTW sorry for the delayed response.

so....the only reason to get a MBC or EBC with the ECUtek flash is the ablility to change the boost levels accordingly with different octane fuels?? Couldn't the ECU adjust its self?
unfortunatley, not many "tuners" have grasped how the mitsubishi boost control works and what you need to change to have it work properly with a flash (this holds true for both ecutek and other reflashing tools)... a properly calibrated ecu will controll boost very well, while still allowing the factory safeties to function if something goes wrong...
Fatbastard,
Why is Ecutek a better platform for tuning IX's in comparison to traditional (tachtom) flashes? Also, does Ecutek have control functions for the Mivec?

yes, ecutek does have the locations of the mivec maps...
essentially, all reflash tools are equal, they both modify maps that are already in the factory ecm... that said, Techtom supplies the end user ("tuners") with basic maps (ignition, fuel, boost limit), EcuTeK supplies their dealers with many more (currently ~40 maps)... this allows EcuTeK users to custom tune the ecm to better suit the end user... they also do frequent updates and offer a large library of base and stock files that many dealers find helpful for extracting more power safely from your ecu...
that said, what atually goes down is dependent on the actual person calibrating your ecu... regardless of how many maps are available, if they are not able to understand or use them properly it doesn't matter which platform is used...
