yeah I wasn't too vocal about it because I didn't want people giving me hell for not getting there but i was thinking to myself 400 should be the minimum, 450, easy and 500 a challenge. So I'm very happy with it.

I was going to get a video today but it got dark on me...maybe I can get a shot of the speedo/boost/afr ? it's all back lit but not sure I can hold the camera...maybe just a 3rd gear pull.

just for you

took some pics... the exposure length is cranked up on some of them and I wasn't as steady as needed so they blurred a bit so I took a few with flash.

I don't know if that radiator hose needed to be wrapped or not...it was a precaution, I was worried that it might melt the hose or at least heat up the coolant.

I could install my meth kit and have plenty of fuel but I that would complicate the setup and I don't feel the need for more power on the stock block right now. I could drop the timing a bit and ramp up the boost to ~ 30 if I wanted more, so I might pick up a set of 880's to get that IDC down first.

hahaha, after all this sizing injectors and your not even running the meth!? you haven't experienced a 35r until you've experienced it on meth

running two 1mm nozzles will be adding around 1000cc/min more fuel. thats basically like going from 780cc/min injectors to 1000cc/min injectors. sense you are around 110% on pump, you would have been nearly perfect with those injectors and the meth spraying.

yeah what a great dilemma...I thought I was going to need meth to get 500awhp on pump gas through the stock ecu/maf boy was I wrong...it was a piece of cake

1) I'll have the stock short block for a long time so I'm not looking for much more power right now.
2) I want to max it out on pump gas and re-evaluate the need for meth

so the meth kit stays boxed up for now and I just ordered some PTE 880cc to get that IDC down a bit on pump gas. I still haven't installed the 65mm tb or ported intake either

Plus some of us only wanna run pump gas. So it's nice to see a freshly-installed, pump-gas-only, HTA 35R powered Evo and the results. Good job Mellon

yep, I like to keep it simple as possible and I've met my goal without needing meth so I'm in no hurry at all to install it now. I just need to get the IDC down a bit, I don't need more power.
