here's my current EBC settings for the Greddy on the 35R turbo.

Gain 7 (this is the solenoid sensitivity)
Set Boost 60% (this is the solenoid duty cycle)
Start Boost 260 (this is the boost I want to hold the wastegate shut to before opening at all 26.0psi)
Warning 320 (at 32psi the display turns red)
Warning correction 20% (this will reduce the Set Boost 60% to 40% and lower boost significantly)

currently the peak is 30.8psi but none of this is set in stone yet, just what I ended up with last night after tweaking the system a little last night. I'll go out with my laptop sometime this weekend and find out what the engine likes best.

I think the fact that it's only at 60% and doing 30psi is really a testament to just how good the turbo/setup efficiency is.

the Greddy Profec B Spec II is supposed to be able to handle up to 43psi but if it's anything like the Profec E-01 I have on my stealth, it doesn't like to be pushed anywhere near 100%, it'll flip out act silly and raise and lower boost wildly. I think they share the same solenoid, just different controller.

I'll cross that bridge when I come to it on down the road, but on the stealth I simply disconnected the wastegate pressure hose and let the twin 16g's go nuts I don't foresee myself doing that with the evo though

yep it's my daily driver.

well I had a bad weekend...out having some fun in the snow I caught a curb going about 30-40mph I'd guess. It's at a body shop right now but hasn't been inspected yet. The right rear wheel was busted, control arm etc... not sure what else, I really didn't want to look at it The good news is that nobody got hurt and I suspect the car can be fixed.

Bummer. Glad you're okay. I feel your pain though. I just got my VIII back from the body shop. I hope it isn't there for too long.

just got word, 6700 in damage, maybe more but they'll need to replace those parts first to see how it behaves.

just to name a few:
2 wheels
rear bumper
hub
trailing arm
aluminum crossmember/axle
quarter panel
control arm
some other pieces I can't remember related to suspension
alignment
exhaust

I'm getting a brand new BR 3" tbe with test pipe and bullet muffler out of the deal...it's what I had on there and it's been working great.

in better news, Nick @ Buschur said the double pumper kit and PTE 1000cc injectors should ship out today...it'll be nice to make my fuel supply concerns a thing of the past.

Do you know how long will it take to get it fixed?

OT:BTW I tried to launch my car today. 1st I slip the clutch but it spins a little bit then I tried not slipping it just releasing it normal not that quick or dumping and it bog down.... I need to practice more to launch this Twin HD. It grabs so quick esp when th restrictor pill was removed.

no idea yet, and they might find other problems when they get the initial parts replaced..could be months In the mean time I'll be saving up for the BR shorty...I keep getting close to pulling the trigger then something like this or the Stealth needs something (control arm, ball joint, cam)

I didn't take the restrictor pill out...I let it slip a little to get the car moving then let it out pretty quickly and let it spin the wheels a bit
