Really though, it makes me nervous too, the close proximity to the new tubular manifold, but at the same time you gotta give it up for doing just what Chris is doing... only what is necessary for performance.... I think by now he would have found out if it was going to cause a problem, I expect coolant temps to slightly rise with more power produced, so it might be hard to tell if that is heating up the coolant b/c of that, or just from the hose being close.

Have you noticed any raise in coolant temps since installing the kit?

Hey Chris I noticed you dont have T-clamps. Have you pressure tested your system for leaks? With that much psi I would think so. I have that same upper I/C pipe from Buschur and found it leaking with worm style clamps like you have. I recently changed them over to the t-clamp style and fixed my leaks. Im only boosting to 22psi max also. This might you.

as for the coolant hose, if it hasn't burned by now it's not going to, I've had the car way past 160mph in some 5th gear pulls, no issues whatsoever. It does have header wrap on it just in case.

I have pressure tested the system but not up to 30psi..maybe 20psi max. I don't like that tester fitting shooting out like a cannon. I don't like using t-bolt clamps unless I have a hose that keeps blowing off.

terrible, just before the race I noticed the clutch was dragging (notchy shifting and grinding going into reverse) I managed to adjust it out and thought I was good to go but the engagement was so close to the floor board that I bogged the launch twice losing both races I had setup

In the immortal words Homer Simpson, "D'oh!"

That sucks to hear about your clutch.

I don't think the clutch is done, it's doing fine now that I've adjusted it...in hind sight I think I was letting the clutch out too quick for the adjustment point and it was bogging. I need to slip the clutch and get the car rolling before going wot

not much, picked up some vacuum hose for the EBC, hope to get some time to play with it this weekend. I hit a snag with the Stealth rebuild, found the front exhaust cam had two bad lobes and rockers, I'm not sure if the rocker came loose or what. I have Dynamic Racing making a replacement cam for me so that's a 2 week delay.

I ditched my home depot MBC for a Greddy Profec B Spec II last night and dialed it in for a peak of ~ 30.8psi but snow is coming so I'm not sure when I'll get g-tech/dll/track times yet. Hopefully this weekend.
