Im talking about straight 4 inch intake pipe with a reducer coupler 4 to 3 inch for the MAF? Will it affect any reading? Is this set up useless?

You're talking about having a 4" pipe from the turbo to a 3" coupler to mate to the MAS

I'm not sure if one is better then the other...I assume the airflow is going to be effectively restricted to 3" either way.

I doubt it'll be any better than what I have 3" pipe to 4" intake with 3 to 4" coupler but I don't think it would post a problem with the MAS/tuning either.

What a difference the FMIC now is compared to your stock FMIC.

yeah it really dwarfs it and it's built like a tank, it's very heavy but that's because it's built to withstand 40+psi

I suspect the stocker might become a grenade at that point

yeah, but as I get closer to pull the trigger on the built motor I keep running into supporting mods that need to be upgraded first. Once I get the foundation right I'll order up. It should be pretty close after the injectors and fuel pump.

I hope you built the outhouse efficiently... You can even use the stock FMIC to cool it out...
