Aux Output (ground) for relay
I'm looking to use an Aux output from the Vipec V44 PnP ecu on my EVO IX to activate the second pump on my Buschur double pumper system. I see 4 Aux outputs (#5-8), but all are currently assigned to ISC stepper. These are ECU pins 15,29, 28,14. Are all of these required to maintain proper Idle Speed Control or can I simply reassign one?
Are any of these output wires in the factory harness in an easy to access location under the hood?

There are alot of aux outputs, but there are no free. There are all used for something like fp speed relay, condenser fans, CEL, 02 sensor heater, MIVEC etc. Every single one you can offer, you get extra aux outputs. Fuel 5-8 and ign 3-8 can be setup as aux.
hey guys, I figure I would start getting a base timing map ready for when I fire up the vipec. Based on former ecu flash knowledge, I tried to stay on the conservative side. Plan is run boost within the maps range. I think the scaling here is good til 23.72 psig at 14.5 atm.
Does this look good enough to start with out being any where near aggressive on 93? I think its a bit conservative @ cruise, and peak load (3500-3750) but I just want it to run well enough until I get det cans and set up knock correction.
GSC S2 cams, Skunk2 intake mani stm ported, 3.8 ic core, 3'' tbe catless

heres my mivec map that I think will be a good start. Changed from TPS values on the Y axis to MGP

Where are you going to set your idle RPM? If its going to be at 1000rpm I would get rid of 0-750 that way you can free up those cells for a little more resolution where you need it, like in the peak tq areas.
Not sure on idle just yet but I will heed that . Hopefully at 1000 even. How does the vipec handle situations where you go out of bounds? Just applies a clamp?
Do those timing figures seem conservative though?
Does map or mgp offer more consistent operation in changing environment ?

Figures looks about right.
If you go off the map it will just use the last cells it was on. So if you are running 28psi and your map is set at 26 psi it will run it at the 26psi portion of the map.
I have mine converted to PSI, MGP or Map are fine. They are basically the same thing. You will be fine with either.
I idle at 1050-1100 and I have my map starting at 1000rpm, same with my Mini, and every cammed mini I tune.
