hotshots stage 2 setup is very strong. from a 3rd gear freeway run i only pulled on him about half a car or so. i wouldn't doubt 240-250whp.

the shootout is in 2 weeks. I have no clutch. I have no money. No I was going to run but now my clutch is slipping badly, i'm goign to try to turn the boost back down to 5 psi and see what happens. Id like to run it there but I might wait till i get a new clutch, which could be a while, and run it at a more local dragway. Id like to get a clutch and flywheel so i can do them both while i have the tranny apart but id be happy if i could get the money together for a clutch let alone a flywheel. By far the biggest downfall of stage 2 is the traction / stock clutch issues.

That price in itself is buying a second turbo kit for your lancer.

Before lsd on stock tires 2.2-2.4 avg
after lsd on stock tires 2.0-2.2avg

And i suck at launching... best launch i ever did was on slicks with lsd and that was a 1.8!

my 60' were the same on heavy 17s with lo pro tires and jsut the nonIC kit, so with the stiff motor mounts, stickier tires with a larger sidewall, and lighter wheels i think i can drop my 60' a good amount without the lsd even.

probably... but with the lsd you'd be even better.

There's no doubting the difference it makes. Drive a car with one and compare. It corners better... launches better... and even pics up speed a lot better. I barely spun tires on my car at 13psi. All i was on was toyo proxies. There's guys running stock diff burning second from 4k on. It helps, no doubting it.

I got serious and lead the way for many... maybe you'll be the next. Right now OMAR is kicking ***... he's got the lsd! :hint: :hint:

How hard is it to install an LSD? Is that the same as the clutch/flywheel?

It should only be done by a certified shop or really experienced mechanic. You have to take the tranny apart to do the swap. Some seals need to be replaced as they are ruined when taking it apart. Either have a dealer do it or pay RRM to do it for you. I wouldn't attempt it unless you knew what you were doing.
