auto's just need the cooler... you'd be suprised how much abuse an auto can take over a manuel. A lot of high hp cars/trucks have automatics that are built. It's a good way to get launching controllable, shifting accurate almost every time, and less to worry about going down the track.

Boooo. There's no challenge in that. It's more fun having crappy reaction times and grinding gears down the track! Lol.

But yeah gotta agree with Boe on this one, the autos are definitely taking over. It's a damn shame if you ask me. :-P

And to prove Matt's correct - his stage 2 with a bad clutch and crap tires car blew my a$$ away on the dragstrip yesterday!

I have an auto... nothing wrong with it... i love the fact that i dont have to worry about a blown clutch. I originally got it for daily driving. trust me you dont wanna be shifting in New York City rush hour traffic. but now that modding is addictive ... all of the sudden i find myself building an automatic mini monster

In my head that sounded really gay. Not that there's anything wrong with it.

how much are injectors?? like jus to buy em by themselves...cause i am probably buying a piggyback for $300 CANADIAN (do the math, thats a killer deal) so i jus have to send it back to RRM to get it reprogrammed for stage 2, so one of i do that, i might as well get them to send me injectors, im jus wondering how much i have to save...

you'll need ones designed for dsm's that have high impedance. A domestic will not work without a lot of modifications.
