I know man, I wish that had already been done before though. That would of been so much more easier. This is going to be like the biggest project I have done to my car.

Here is a pic of my wastagate.

I don't have a pic of the downpipe yet, but I used the evo and customize to fit it.

Btw, please check the Lancer Engine Tech Forum, I started a thread there and need help.

I tried watching your videos but they seem to be down. Any chance of you uploading them again to another service, I'm interested in seeing them.

It was bumped from the dead, but hey, why not post.

I am collecting parts for my 16g6 turbo project as well...theres alot to get/do so it might be a while. So far i have the turbo, ic, ic piping, bov, and the exhaust manifold is on the way. I work for an Engineering company, so i will have them work on the exhaust flange for me for little money, if that. So far i have spent only 500$..I will be buying the majority of the parts within the next month, and may have to be boosting during the winter..but i might be moving to florida, so hopefully some fellow lancer owners could help me out down there.

There is a good number of turbo'd Lancers down there. I'm sure they could help. But if you stay up here, I could lend a hand as well

damn only 500 so far? you got most of the expensive stuff out of the way too. Looks like you'll be coming out pretty cheap in the end.

yeah sounds good guys, i was pretty lucky and found a evo8 that was totaled in lansing which isnt far from me that i got parts from for pretty cheap.. Thanks for the offer z-lancerman..if i can get the parts in time before i might leave i might haveta take you up on that. I might be able to get my shop to fab up a exhaust flange for free out of stainless steel, and weld it back together..if not then thanks alot for the link. Good luck with your turbo endeavor as well 01g wrx 02.

bumpity.... harr harr.

I have questions

Brand New SS Custom Turbo Manifold: $325.00
Brand New SS Custom Evo O2 Housing: $50.00

what is the 02 housing? Im confused on this part.
FMU? what is this doing, something with fuel or boost?

to get the mani to work you cut that flange off and bolted on a lancer flange!? what kinda flange was used to do this? whats the "SS" stand for?

Im looking to peice myself a kit together now as well although im going for a tuneable set-up with a ecu upgrade. any additional info that wasnt touched on would be great. Ive read through twice now but confused on a few things.

FMU?

it raises the fuel pressure under boost to add additional fuel

what is this doing, something with fuel or boost?

it appears that others have just drilled the new holes in the 4g63 flange

what kinda flange was used to do this? whats the "SS" stand for?

stainless steel
