Car was becoming less and less of a daily driver and more and more orf a race car, and the constant diversion of funds towards it was leaving me poor and hungry. Real hard letting go. The car had 11 seconds written on it (my turbo partner in his Mirage already posted better times than the RRM Lancer and he still has full interior and no weight reduction except for carbon bonnet and trunk). To be honest, not 100% sure that it wont go back on, but about 90% sure.

Even tho the RalliArt is nice, I miss turbo and not fearing any car on the road. Doesnt help when you roll with 3 turbo Eclipses, SRT4s etc etc. Crazy MIVEC turbo dreams are going thru my head but I think better judgement will prevail. Ditch the turbo, get a stage 3 cam or something, some Evo big brakes and some suspension stuff, and then when the arranty is out, blow this motor.

I know what you mean man, my friend just did the same thing with his eclipse gs. He upgraded internals, turbo and 100 shot of NX. He was on his 3rd engine and he decided to give it up.

Actually not yet, was really busy just this weekend and couldn't finish the whole thing. Well I already installed my fuel pump and also my spark plugs and I just recieved my boost gauge today and already finish tapping my return line. I think all I have to do right now is to tap my water lines, put oil, coolant, install the downpipe, boost gauge, MBC, and prime the oil lines, then I'll fire her up (IF I MISS ANYTHING ELSE, LET ME KNOW RIGHT AWAY) . For now I am just being patient right now and double checking everything. I might actually fire her up probably on Wednesday, because my time is limited, I am always busy on weekdays.

Well I assume this set up will be equivalent to RRM Stage 1 (well hopefully). I'll buy bigger injectors later when I am ready to go to next level.. "stage 2"

It's the turbo manifold you'll find on ebay and I custom fitted. Hey it's fun to build your own set up, you will learn alot of stuff out of it, but I must tell ya, I get lazy and unpatient sometimes, but I still keep up with it and I've been building this for almost 2 months now.

He purchased an SS Evo manifold on Ebay and then bought this Lancer flange: http://www.cnfxperformance.com/produ...38e343420613f2

He had a shop cut off most of the Evo flange and then weld on the Lancer flange - viola $325 custom SS manifold.

Yepp , my College welding instructor only charged me $75 to modify it (yes he was the one who did it, pro. weld), and other shop I went to trying to charged me $250+, wheew, that save me a bunch , gettin hook up is a great way to save money .

Btw, you guys like my "Accolade floor mat" ... if you have notice..

These are the kind of projects I love.. as far as I know, this is the first application of the OEM twin scroll Evo turbo, on an non-evo. Thats what makes this project so interesting to me.
