I bought that because I actually know someone who bought that bov and said it work pretty well. , at least it's not plastic that break will easily .

Wow, few people are trying to use 16g now, well good luck to both of you .

Well thanks for caring , I was planning to keep the stock 8 bov for awhile until I have enough money to buy the Greddy ones, but it broke , and I don't have extra money to buy well-known brand BOVs, so I just bought a bov that I can afford for now.

Btw, Silver Lancer and Z lancer, are you going customize your manifold like what I did? Well if so, just want to say now that it's not CHEAP to do that, can cost about $225 +, well it only cost me $75 since I got a hook up. If you have money problem for the manifold, let me know, I could probably hook you guys up. And I'll try to take pictures wheres the fitting problems you will face when you're going to install the turbo.

I don't know when I am going to finish this, but I'll try to finish everything, and I'll just have to wait for the bov to arrive.

I went the same route you did. I also attend a university, so I also got a hookup The SS EVO turbo manifold + SS O2 housing cost me $148 shipped new. Then I bought the Lancer flange and am having my friend (who happens to be a professional TIG welder ) cut off the EVO flange and weld on the Lancer flange. He charges $30/hour and said it should take between 60-90 minutes. I'm stoked!

Yea im doing the same exact thing you are doing, I figure that will be the easiest way to do it without messing anything up.
Im not really worried about how much it cost because im in the navy and im out to sea right now. I dont get back till late september so ill have enough saved up for that.

I do live in an apartment and will be moving to another in 2 weeks where they don't let you do anything in the parking lot. I've got some friends with a house, so I'll probably end up doing the install there. Also, I'm slowly buying parts and really don't have any idea when I will installing...

When I get back I will be doing the install on base at the hobbie shop. They have all the tools I will need for it, and its only going to cost me like $60 because im friends with one of the guys that work there, so hes gonna hook me up. And hes gonna help me out with anything I need.

Z lancer is right, you don't want to put the MAF on the pressure side.

Mazdaspeed Protege guys have been modifying their setups so they can vent to atmosphere by putting the MAF post turbo. So far there have been no MAF failures.

Hmm, interesting.

Hey Azn, why did you need to get that wastegate actuator ($108)? Couldn't you just use the stock wastegate on the 16g and replaced the spring on it? I'm to figure out why you bought what you bought. I set a goal to spend less than $1000
