just a heads up, if for some reason you do put the maf on the pressurized side, your going to get a cel error for barometric pressure (maf sees all that pressurized air flowing past and $hits a brick)

if you put the maf before the turbo, you can usually weed out any cel codes by using some tricks (o2 simulator for headers, etc)

Pare nice setup! Can't wait to see it in action. What is your target psi? I see you bought a mbc, must be planning to go up high there.

Quote: Hmm, interesting.

Hey Azn, why did you need to get that wastegate actuator ($108)? Couldn't you just use the stock wastegate on the 16g and replaced the spring on it? I'm to figure out why you bought what you bought. I set a goal to spend less than $1000
If you read like in the beginning of the thread, you will find out why . For the information, the stock evo wastegate is set up 11 or 13 (I think) and the wastegate is NOT adjustable, that's why you can't change its spring, that's why you need an adjustable ones from Forge (since they're the only one who makes them), and then you will need to replace the Forge Evo wastegate spring with Forge #8 5-10 psi spring ($23 shipped) . (Forge evo wastegate is set up at 17psi). If you want to save money (brand new cost 170 bucks) try searching for a member who have them and PM them, that's what I did.

Thanks pare. Well for now I'm going to stick with 5psi until I get bigger injectors and tune it to 7 psi (hopefully soon)

My best bet is this Saturday since it's my dayoff from work. If my bov didn't break, the car should be up running by now. Now I am just waiting for my new bov to arrive.

I have new pics, but I'll post them up all at once later. So far right now, I have a "prototype" intake which I'll get them re-done later once I get a mini battery.

Lists that I have to do (tell me if I miss something)

- Waiting for my bov to arrive and install it.
- Install boost gauge (got the vacuum line ready)
- Install downpipe (For now, I'm not going to connect the downpipe to the cat. once it's running, I'll go to the muffler shop right away and have them fabricate me a custom downpipe.)
- Put oil
- Put coolant
- Prime the oil
- Re-check the all the lines/fittings
- Start the car up
