Car feels slow? or does it? or is something wrong?

it's been a few weeks since ive done the turbo install and i don't know if the car is actually slow or if just im used to it.

But in 2nd and 3rd gear, i ll hit 8psi if i mash on the gas (which is weird, i have the stock rrm 16g kit) and in 4th or 5th, ill hit 6 or 7psi. I don't have a MBC btw.

but let's say im already crusing on the highway, and i down shift to 4th and mash the gas, it feels really weak, the torque doesnt feel very strong as if i did a straight on ramp pull and ill only hit like 6psi.

Is this normal? Or is there something wrong here?

i was going to try that when i go get my oil changed. Don't think it's that though. im not burning/leaking oil, car still runs like it did before, no lumpy idle, or weird problems either.

Maybe you're just getting used to it.

it's very possible, i think that may actually be the issue here lol.

But i still can't figure out the difference in PSI depending on how i drive though, still boggling my mind.

I would still do compression test and leakdown for a good piece of mind.

actually my car felt smoother after a week. their was this ticking noise and it wasnt from the injectors. all of a sudden it stopped but it was a new turbo, so i dont think you experienced it.

but ya i guess your just getting used to it. i drove my moms sebring and it has 200hp. than my friends cavy which has like 140hp (not sure). i even drove my car cousins mirage and im like damn i remember how it felt to be slow.
