well finally got my seat and come to find out it aint exactly what it was in the acution...

first its twisted....




and two it said that it had oem evo brackets, but they ar completely flat sliders. there is nothing to mount it to the bolts in our cars, so i contacted griffin mitsubishi over in milwaukee wi and they sent this...


this is the seat rails used in all ct9a chassis code cars which include the 8 and the 9. i have opened a case on ebay for this already, and hopefully this gets resolved soon so i can convert it to a drivers seat instead of a passenger.

what's up with the 2 pictures of the flanges? and that really sucks about the seat. i would be very upset. Hope it works out for you.

workin on puttin the entire mani into solidworks so i can acurately place my tial wastegate. and thanks for the support on the seat. hopefully he gets back to me soon now that a case hase been opened thru ebay. i contacted him on tuesday and angain thursday nite with no response either time.

oh man do you have a serious case of "bait and switch" on your hands. That seat has been in one HELL of an accident to be bent like that. hope they send you a new seat.

 

make sure to report that as a negative feedback if he doesnt correct it.

 

well i talked to an auto body guy in the town that i live in and he said that you can pop off hte back of the seat and twist the frame back. i know hes a reputable guy and very well liked here in our community , but thats a "good" twist to the seat. main thing im lookin for is at least a refund for my shipping. if nothing else it would become a great....
what to do with an extra evo 8 seat

dont worry i plan to and also to make it known at that!

 

i always ask for current pictures and ask them to tag the pictures with the date and their user name, my user name, etc.

file a claim on paypal and dont let the seller blame it on shipping.

 

ya i already got it started. he still hasnt replied yet to that even. i think he tok my money and ran, but obviuusly i got the seat but its not what was pictured. and he cant blame shipping on not having oem rails and the box aint damaged in any way for it to be a shipping mishap.

update...

still no reply for the guy who sold me the seat. it has now been a week since i had first contacted him and recieved the seat.
