cuz i can get a kit but i just need the turbo manifol
so i kinda need to know which is the cheapest one to get
Got it from a member here. its an evo manifold with the holes drilled out to fit the lancer. But had to make a spacer so the turbo would clear the water pipe that runs in front of our engines. the evo's have it in the back of the engine. It was an unexpected surprise when we tried to bolt up the turbo and manifold to the car. we thought we were in the home stretch but the we hit a big setback.

the car runs very well. no check engine lite. idles the same as before except for the noise from the fuel pump. orange stuff is high heat rtv with copper. We used it between the manifold and the spacer plate and the turbo. works well for now we only had one gasket and because we had to make a spacer we needed to seal it up with rtv. I am using the stock evo intake pipe and additional pipe to get the filter up closer to the hood vent. We may change this set up just to see what works best. bov is recirculated.

I didn't get a picture of the spacer. sorry. My friend went to town on this 1/2 inch piece of scrap metal with a miter saw. then drilled out a bunch off holes and used a blow torch to finish it off. even made it with the twin scroll design. took him 2 hours.we worked until 5 am that day, yesterday.

Everything feels good. It's kind of strange because ts an automatic tans and boost seems to stay consistent at gear changes. can't really hear the bov but it does open.
It sounds like "purrrrr" instead of "psshhsshh" I will get some video up today so you can see what i mean.

no problem... I'm guessing you should be able to get a lancer exhaust gasket, line it up, and just drill it...

A few people have gone the route of simply welding a 4G9x exhaust flange to a standard Evo turbo manifold. You need to weld them together all the way around and also do some weld work inside the runners since they don't match up that well on the end runners. Then you need to drill out the holes for the exhaust studs on the cylinder head.

Welding a flange to the manifold would also give you more room between the water pipe and the turbo. since mine was just drilled out we had big issues with that pipe. We needed at least 1/4 inch to clear the pipe.
