You dont have to, but you should.

Running VTA, I had to really watch as I decelerated or I would stall. There was no more put the car in neutral and coast to a stop or it would be guaranteed to stall. Recirc'ing it stopped that issue and it was as normal.

So you dont have to recirc. it but keep in mind, it'll make your car trickier to drive.

i wouldnt vent to atmos. car will run alot nicer with it recirculated and makes tuning much easier to stop stalling

yes. it should make decent noise still..
(if u have seen the new fast n furious movie, that WRX he starts driving is recirculated, u can hear it, sounds akward)
mine is rather loud, but its hard to hear it from inside the car, my exhaust is really loud
(full 3 inch, no res, no cats, and magnaflow muffler, its deep and really loud)..

everyone says my bov sounds good, its just hard for me to hear from the driver seat

Everyone swears I'm running a BOV because it can be heard inside the car, outside, while driving, etc. But it's simply a Forge recirc valve with the proper spring inside. You don't get the same control with an adjustable valve like you do with one that has a spring with the exact spring pressure for your setup.

some of u with turbo lancers need to take vids of the sounds and videos from outside the car. also take some going through tunnels, we should start a new thread with people posting vids of them going through tunnels seeing who sounds the best!! how about it
