In What League is a RRM Turbo Lancer

Or even an extremeboost turbo lancer. I wanna know what cars should these people who buy the kits be expected to beat and be able to keep up with

probably stock SRT4s and WRXs at least. someone with the RRM turbo (another thread in aftermarket forced induction) said he whooped a lexus IS 300 from a 20 mph roll.

thats not too bad considering if you buy a DE for 14g's and drop 5 g's for a turbo you'll be able to keep up with a wrx

Oh okay I see. so in your opinion would it be worth buying the kit. or trading in the car for something else(not an RA because they are way too expensive for the lack of horse power)

I'm the one that beat the IS300. I got my GTS for only $16K + the $4500 for the kit = $20.5K. Thats at least $8K less than the RA and putting down the same amount of hp. So is it worth it???? Yes.

He probably raced a wannabe evo... I see lancers here in Vegas with evo conversions. Some people can't tell the difference (yes it's sad when you can't tell the difference between a poopy conversion kit and the real thing) but it still happens. Although the new X conversions you can get are almost identical, but it's still pointless to make your car look like an evo when it's not.

No offense either, The TC-SST isn't the best tranny for launching =[ Fifth gear ran the X through a slalom against the STI and it had a weak launch and the tranny glitched out on the e-brake u-turn... really needs to have a 6spd option for the RA and EvoX
