Got it.....that makes sense. I've actually had mine do that to me a couple times in WOT. did like 2 or 3 quick flashes then back to normal. Good to know. So I've obviously hit that because of either knock or its sensing things are getting pushed a little to close for comfort.

I've only been turbo'd for 4 months and still learning a lot along the way.

 

if your getting a cel flash after aaron tuned it call him and let him know. It shouldn't be knocking. I have only had it do it twice in one night but was beating on the car with passengers so guess was higher load then what aaron tuned it for. My gauges will beep if i over boost or egt goes higher then it should.

 

Yeah, swinging by and talking Aaron about this actually sounds like a good idea. I did have a couple people in the car with me the 2 times it did that. And yes I was strait mashing on it from a complete stop at just about every light and on the freeway those times as well. I go WOT at least once a day. Either on my way to work or on my way home and I never get that cel flashing. So I wonder if having that extra load in the car had an effect. And this has only happened on 2 different occasions. I think I will give him a call or swing by the shop just to see what he says.

LOL...Yeah, I pass by there shop too and from work every day. It is nice being so close to my tuner, but at the same time, I need to just get myself a tactix and start learning this myself. I know it'll take time to really start to understand ECUflash. Especially since Aaron tuned my car on speed density. That much more to learn.

 

If any of us are ever gonna be around where the other lives, we should try and meet up. There is nobody here that has a turbo'd lancer. A bunch of honda's though...lol.

Myself, ryancb and 03lances...Met up at English Racing today. We had to get this pick of our cars lined up after stopping for a bite to eat afterwords before the guys headed back home. yeah you don't see that very often. Mitsukid is the only one around me that I know of who has a turboed lancer but he drives his high HP eclipse now more than the lancer. I need to up my boost though. I'm getting jealous of all the numbers people are making. I'm only at 5psi so no where near the numbers you guys are making.
