I could do that, or just send the turbo to them for a complete rebuild and shaft balance for 275 and I think I get a warranty as well but im not sure? maybe ill try to rebuild and send the shaft in to get it rebalanced

Its really not hard to rebuild something like that if you are mechanically inclined and can read instructions well. I blame my skills on my parents buying me legos haha. Building and reading instructions. If you haven't already, go google how to rebuild your turbo and see if you can find some threads on it. Should help you out pretty well to see if its a project you want to tackle. By the time you pay someone 275 to rebuild it with a stock rebuild kit, you may as well buy a low mileage used turbo for alot less.

hey 03lance, 2 things

could my idle be messed up because of my turbo making noise when I press the pedal?

Or if my latency is messed up couldnt I just take your lantencies and multply them by 2 or %100 since my injectors are pretty much doubled?

Have I mentioned how much I LOVE my car lately? The roads were dry last night for the first time in a few weeks so on my way to work I put her in third and punched it heading up the on ramp onto a bridge right before I get to work. All I have to say is OMG!!!!! Oh how I have missed traction . Doing about 75 in a blink. Ahhh it feels good...

Thought I would give another minor update for you guys. Kept getting an egr code that would pop up every few days so I puller the Egr valve off and cleaned it out so hopefeully that will fix that problem. While I was under the hood I pulled off my upper rad hose to try and fix the small leak I am having, nothing major I can go months without having to top it off and I never overheat. Anyone know off hand any stock radiators that will drop into our stock location and have the top outlet over by the drivers side? I really dont want to buy a brand new radiator since mine is still just fine I would rather go to the junkyard and pic one up for cheap. I checked out all my welds on my header and they are still holding strong not a single crack despite only having the one bracket going from the engine flange to the turbo flange so that good. No leaks (other than the slight coolant) anywhere.

Another thing I will note is had to drive a couple hours to pick up some relatives from the airport yesterday and even with 4 full grown adults in the car and a truck full of shopping bags and luggage it handled beautifully, never bottomed out with the lowering springs, AND I can really tell that my fuel tuning greatly helped my power with a full load. All that weight in the car and it still got on it and hauled ***!!!!!!!!!

Hell ya bro get that stuff installed. You think 6 is good (and it is) 10 is just crazy more power and 12 is very VERY nice lol. I have decided to go get dyno'ed either this spring or maybe Jan Feb. I wanna know what I am hitting numbers wise and I really want to hit the strip to see what I can lay down in the quarter.

So nobody knows of any factory radiators that will fit?

Why radiator? Because my outlet is so close to my header the hose literally lays on it and even the metal elbow now has a small crack so the coolant leaks when running. So I figure I need to do this right and get the hose away from the header

I have a 90 degree bend metal elbow right now coming straight off the radiator but its just too close, the outlet sits literally less than an inch from the 1200 degree header

Whats worse now too is After putting on new header wrap around the elbow (I use this to help cushion so I dont get rattle and more potential false knock). It smokes soo bad that it literally looks like my engine is on fire when I come to a stoplight smoke just barrels out. Hopefully that darn coating will burn off soon.

Isn't the evo's top spot off to the side?

I am going to look into it not sure. If so that would be awesome although I can imagine the price hike any junkyard would put on the evo radiator.
