The bottom rad hose is stock. The top hose is a piece of 10" flexhose. It was actually too long but my auto parts store here did no have anything shorter so I had to cut a little off each end so it wasnt kinked. 8" would probably work perfectly.

Well fixed my laptop "good enough" to do some logging. Did 4 back to back wot pulls in third and my false knock is gone Highest count I seen was a 2. Turbo must have been causing a good deal of false knock for me since before I would get random counts up to 10. The knock voltage and non consistency of the knock itself led me to believe a long time ago it was false.

Can someone confirm something for me? In my stock lancer rom under the idle settings it shows the "High Intake Air Temp Idle Speed Target" table as 78 rpms @ A/C off and 1375 rpms @ A/C on. Does this seem right? My tephra rom I run shows 1000rpms under both conditions. I have 3 separate stock lancer roms all showing the same numbers in this table, has anyone running the tephra rom used these idle settings?

I went ahead and switched it to the stock lancer settings. I does seem slightly better but still have the wierd idle dropping issue. Its reminds me of like fuel cut or something the idle is a little lower than normal but then it will just cut down randomly like 3-400rpms for a split second until the ecu kicks in and stabilizes it then it does it again over and over and sometimes the ecu cannot recover and it just stalls. So far I have changed over those settings, swapped the intake manifold, thoroughly cleaned the egr valve, and swapped map sensors all with no effect :-/. Its not a huge issue atm so im not fretting over it or anything just something I have to fix eventually.

Dont see any point in deleting it. Not going to save me much weight and dont plan on going full race.

I noticed that the sensor's leak under boost and less chance of them popping off when removing all of them . Im also putting down 251 whp @ only 10 psi on a actual dynojet so im sure it helps !

So I swapped out the green spring and put in the yellow spring into my wg. also pulled apart my mbc cause something seems like slightly binding up in it. Put it all back together and boosting 13psi now :-). Holds better too and boost controller is working perfectly now as well.

My idle dips 3-400 rpm when I am on MAF using my "dehoneycombed" maf sensor...same behavior but different cause. It doesn't happen on SD though.

Just started a couple weeks ago :-/ another good thing is I can now hold the throttle wherever I want while in boost before I would have to basically go wot or my cel would flash like crazy going like half throttle in boost. I knew it was false but didn't know how to eliminate it. Still get fast shift knock but no big there ill eventually get that.

Hey can I get some of you guys to comb over this log with me? Its a log of my car sitting at idle from almost completely cold start until it warms up and eventually one of the rpm dips stall it out and thats where I stop logging. Been trying to solve this idle issue and can only assume its in the tune somehow. Physically I have swapped the map sensor, installed a different intake manifold (when I installed the painted one) all cleaned and cleaned the throttle body. Cleaned out the egr valve. Cleaned the maf and determined I have no vacuum leaks. I basically logged everything I could think of but knock and speed for obvious reasons

Nobody has any insight here? Pulled my throttle body off today and pulled out the idle stepper motor and cleaned that valve up real good. Seemed to help but really all it did was delay the low idle. Now when I come to idling I might get a couple mins of clean idle then it will go back to the same thing :-/. Wondering if my maf might be taking a dump.
