Haha glad my suggestion came into play. Custom jobs are NEVER ready to go before you get them on the car. Theres SO much you never think of, or think will work but end up not working. Glad shes fired up though!

One thing to keep an eye on, the BOV. I used an EVO 8 BOV on my custom project and found it to be either too hard, or too soft (i cant remember which). Either it was venting too much, or it wasnt venting enough and giving me comressor surge. But either way i ended up ditching it and goign with a greddy type s. As for the intercooler pipes, i had to do a bit of customization with those, and even then, the hot side never connected snugly. I was blowing it off every month or so even with heavy duty clamps on there. But i think that was more due to the lip on the intercooler inlet. Good luck with it! and enjoy boost!! I miss it, but instead of turboing my 09 GTS, i think i'll be sticking with what i've always wanted to do. Building a turbo'd 95 240sx with the KA24DE

Ok eating some food, figured I better so I can continue the fun so I figured I would toss some pics on here

intake all put back together ported and 440s in

stripped and ready to dump in the parts washer

engine hanging on the hoist while I tapped the oil pan

cleaning a little

hole drilled

5/8 hose barb in for return line

fuel pump out

tranny is out

intake back on the head

front end pulled apart

the wiring harness gutted hanging through the head light hole

oil pressure and egt sensor wires ran through the main ecu harness while the engine was still out

right on top of the firewall drivers side where I ran my boost gauge hose

Oil feed line and underdrive pulley

retun line wrapped in header wrap, you can also see that my LICP is too short and too small for the j pipe

this is my fix 2" to 1-1/2 rubber reducer worked perfect for length and diameter

dangerous work make sure you have life insurance lol

rad hose resting on the header thinking I am going to shift the rad over about 1-1/4"

gauge wiring fun fun

I will post some more later but couldnt leave yall in the dark haha

I havent adjusted mine either havent let it idle long enough for the fuel trims to change so I know which way to go, this is why its wierd it is idleing like its stock very little hiccups, it does stumble a little after you rev it a little but I always thought with out the latencys right the idle would be garbage

thats why it stumbles a bit after you rev because if i remember correctly the voltage latency for that specific one is relativetly close to stock, its the other values that change a bit and a millisecond on those values is a lot, so thats why it stumbles.

you will notice it a bit more under boost if you dont adjust the values.

Alright just reinstalled my bumper, its a little tight, the UICP drop a descent ways below the bottom of the bumper, the LICP drop just a tad under the bumper, I had to pull the plastic mesh off the bumper, cut the tabs that held it, and trim the bottom where the LICP hits the bottom lip so wasnt too bad. I took 4 days off to do this build I guess its a good thing I did cause tomorrow is my last day off!!!!. Josh you think I could drive it about 4 miles through town without adjusting the latencys? That is where I plan on getting my exhaust done and then I will install my wideband so I can figure out my afrs

if you put it at stock scaling you should be able to drive it that what i have it right now for almost two months now i still need to get my latency figured out cause driving at 412 it goes full lean for me so im guessing it might for you especially you dont have a way to monitor your afrs

and your piping sounds like mine but my licp doesnt go to far down as the upper and did you put the foam back on or you got nothing under it

Foam??? Haha Lets just say there were probably 200 times these past couple days I would have not hesitated to drop the previous owner of my car, nope no foam when I pulled it off. Lots of little things they did to it really annoyed me but hey I guess thats what you get with a $700 intitial investment. So your saying I should scale my injectors back to 232?
