speaking of waiting another day I am done for today I was able to get the clutch in, engine and trans back in the car, half shafts and all engine hardware installed as well as the wiring harness all installed. Pulled everything through the firewall for all the gauges (I did this while the engine was still out which made it 100000000000x easier) oil feed and return lines are connected to the engine I wrapped my return line in header wrap the help protect it a little from the turbo hotside. Ummm... Fuel pump is in FMIC is on.
Now for my issues I am having, first off my IC piping that connects from my FMIC to my BOV recirc pipe has no where to mount it to
When I mock it up piping the hard pipe just hangs with nothing to mount it. The other main concern is my J pipe, when I bolt it up one way it hits the front transmission mount before I can bolt the mani to the head, and I cant bolt the j pipe up the other way cause it hits the wastegate actuator

My upper pipe isn't supported by anything. It hangs there but the tension between the couplers at the fmic and the throttle body support it well enough where it doesn't really move.
Take a pic of the turbo assembly all together with the jpipe on there. Mine has no issues, just make sure it's pointed towards the lower inter cooler pipe.

Ok my upper piping is the same way it stays there no prob but I guess I just always thought there were mounts for both hard pipes on our cars. As far as the J pipe goes ya tomorrow I will snap ome pics of what I mean, when I try to mount the j pipe where it points toward the LICP the wastegat seems to be in the way wierd. THanks for the help OZ, Other than that and having trouble elongating those couple mounting holes in my turbo mani everything else has gone pretty smooth, I guess really all that is left is getting the turbo mounted in, cutting the coolant lines to length and attaching them, attaching the oil lines, slim fan, radiator, piping, and getting power to my gauges, so hopefully I can fire it up fairly early tomorrow

Yup cant remember who but someone said to take extra time into account as there will be alot more customising the you think and he was right on the money. Now that said it isnt hard to find solutions to the issues but it is time consuming. I did figure out the j pipe. I have 2 and I can only assume one is from a evo 9 and the other an 8, as soon as I found the other one all was good. Install is almost done but a couple questions, first where do you attach the vaccuum line to the intake that goes to the BOV? Only place I can find is where the pcv valve connects to but the line is very tight and not on very far and I dont know where the pcv line would ge then? Also the upper radiator hose is quite literally resting on the header not sure what to do thinking of wrapping the hose is header wrap, also the o2 sensor, I have to mount the connector on the pass side now and I have about to 2 foot gap to the wiring harness not sure what to do there besides just splicing in and extending it. Any help would be great
i have all my vacuum boost lines running off of my fpr to the manifold line. other words my b/c, boost gauge, fpr, and bov are all connected to that line that used to just go from the fpr to the im

Ok cool I will do that too then thanks Josh, Well I am installing the gauges right now lets just say my car has fought me tooth and nail through this whole damn build. Any one else have the issue of the upper rad hose resting on the header? I wrapped the hose in header wrap but will that even provide any protection from melting onto the header? I dont see anyway around it as pretty much a couple inches off the radiator is where it hits. I cut my 02 connection at the harness side and extended it enough to go through in between the intake mani and head and connect so its out of the way of the header. Went and measured my belts and picked them up and wouldnt you know it one was still too short soo I went back and got a 1" bigger and viola too long
couldnt believe it so tomorrow back I will go to shorten it 1/2" Any help is greatly appreciated

the ac/ps belt is 51.5" long. goodyear p/n: 4050515
alt belt is p/n:4040360 i think.
i know its a 4040 for sure 4 ribs wide, just cant remember the exact length. i know thw ac/ps is correct and if yur deleting ac i used a 42.9" belt wihich is a 4050429.

Thanks josh I have a aftermarket pulley though thats the only reason it waas giving me trouble. Oh that and the moron at the parts store gave me one 3" longer instead of 1", all is good now primed the oil feed flashed my base map and guess what SHE IS ALIVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! no leaks anywhere, my 02 sensor is fine she idles on her own starts right up I will update tonight probably with pics and video

Ok couple Q&A for ya so I used 15-40 oil and when cold oil pressure was about 80 psi and after warmed up dropped to around 20 to 30 does this sound right? Also so it idles very well so tell me, my base map did not have adjusted latency values just a scaled injectors to 412. If I did not flash my ecu would the car even run considering the 440 injectors? Or would there be way too much fuel being dumped in?

as for the oil pressure... 15-40 seems awful thick to me. but it will have to run a higher psi until it warms up and becomes thinner to push thru the system.

Very nice looking build got any pictures of the manifold hitting the radiator hose? And the oil pressure is the same as i get cold 80 and if i get on it at all i can have it go over 100 and once warmed up it goes to 20-30 and on long trips it goes to like 8-10 i run mobil 1 5-30 and im N/A still. Also idk if you have i would put a zip tie were all the connections are in the vacuum line that way they cant blow off. It's cheap security.
