and in the videos that you linked me to(and here) on how to tune an evo and which are great info there to tuning as well, but like the guy said in there and to second the notion on the ecu load, if u look at yur maps they go up from 10-100%, which means almost nothing to wot. 100% ecu load/wot is 0 boost, but now you have boost which is + pressure so you will see 110-130% ecu load depending on how much boost yur running. ive seen evos scaled all the way to 300% ecu load to accommodate their boost. your ecu load will aslo obviously go hand in hand with yur timing and fuel maps as well. just an fyi.

what wastegate you runnin and what lbs spring as well if u dont mind me asking?
I flashed my base turbo map I tweaked awhile back to my car right before the intial startup, I have my load values rescaled to 120% and did a basic adjustment in the timing and fuel tables in the higher load collums I made and scaled my injectors to 412. I am logging the basic items timing, ecuload, batt voltage, fuel trims, knock, and a couple others. I have a forge wastegate I bought the spring tuning kit and put in the green 5-10 psi spring and have a forge unos MBC hooked up and turned all the way down for now, ok so with that turned down all the way will this mean I wont boost at all or just boost to 5psi?

if its like my hallman and if remember right, all the way down is stock like its not there and a lil increase in boost is the lowest the wastegate is allowed at and you got up from there to increase boost

Ok I see, now my ecu threw the lean code but in all of my logs since dumping in the octane booster I dont have a knock sum above 2??? Thinking I might follow your advice link62 and drop my injectors back to 232 and be overly rich until I can log my afrs thursday. So to help me break this down to a little more basic, after your injector scaling and latency are dialed in correctly then its just mainly WOT tuning correct?

yes and no, but it does determine how well it will run. and for now i would unhook the boost controller for now. get it tuned for a lower psi and then start upping the boost. like link said the boost controller wont lower your boost but it will raise it by messing with the pressures on the internal spring.

if yur hooked up and started tuning you should be able to look at yur afr's thru evoscan and adjust from htere.

Well right now the only way I could check afrs would be through my stock narrow band front 02 sensor but dont know how to interpret it or if it would even do any good. My wideband is sitting in my trunk waiting to get installed. Finishing up relocating my battery to the trunk today before work

Cant until I get my exhaust done I dont have a welder so I figured button up any and all loose ends, got my batt relocated to the trunk done, secured. So I will prolly scale my injectors back to stock for safety when I drive it to the exhaust shop. Not driving it until then, all in all I think it looks pretty professional and very clean I will post some pics of the completed build soon. Close the hood and no one would be the wiser hehehe

Ya sorry my bad I went there monday really hoping to get it done but he needed to order some flexpipe and a little more 3" piping as I have most of it. I still have to do something about the radiator hose on the header. Dude at the exhaust shop said I could probably get a piece of tin for a heat sheild to put in between there, between that and the header wrap I should be good.

Ok so brought my car to the exhaust shop today gonna pick it up tomorrow. I rescaled my injectors to 301 and seems a lot better my idling trim was -0.2 and my cruise was -2.12 or something real close to that, where before I was maxed out on my fuel trims positive and still lean. Got a Batt box so I put that in. Can't wait to pick up my car tomorrow and start the real tuning of the injectors then go from there with my afrs and knock.

Ok so this is how I am interpreting dialing in the injectors, log fuel trims at idle and while cruising for at least 16 mins each, if they are not the same then adjust the latencys accordingly to batt voltage until they are the same or very close. Next you scale the injectors to get that number as close to zero as possible. If this is not correct feel free to set me straight

Yea you pretty much just leave the injectors at the 412 scaling, then mess with latency. Don't forget that you'll probably have to mess with the mas scaling too.
