Ok so for the MAF adapter (yup I literally started this build with NOTHING lol) what all vehicle adapters can I use? Is the Lancer the only one I can use? Or can I use an evo adapter (I currently have my stock maf) or mirage,? eclipse? etc.

Just don't go too big or you'll run into the problem I have which is running out of room when using the maf sensor.

Just bought a cheap one off ebay adapter and 3" cone filter for $25. Good news I HAVE PURCHASED EVERYTHING NEEDED FOR MY BUILD WOOOOOHOOOOOO!!!!! lol other than a couple T fittings and hose clamps for the coolant lines. Gonna stop at the exhaust shop tomorrow and talk to them about welding up my exhaust plus my wideband o2 bung and egt bung.

Ok so stopped by the exhaust shop today, he quoted me around $200 for the 3" piping and to weld it up along with the 2 02 bungs and egt bung. However he said its going to be REALLY LOUD. Which is not what I want, I want it fairly quiet but a nice deep tone. I have a 3" B&B DP and a magnaflow race muffler with 3' inlet and 4" tip

I know a couple of you guys have the same kinda setup is yours really loud? Also If I decided to just run 2.5" piping in between would this quiet it down? Would it be enough flow for when I install my other engine running 300+ hp?

its not going to be loud at all, remember im running full 3 inch, no cats, magnaflow exhaust also. u do have to extend the downpipe 12 inches. meineke has the flange for it, just match the one on the downpipe. ur gonna have to cut off the back side of the downpipe when u extend it unless u buy two flanges.

I think he was going to put some flexpipe in right past the dow pipe then run piping back to the muffler that's makes me feel better zulu about the noise I hate driving downthefreeway with nothing but loud exhaust in your ear
