One more 16g thread - few questions
Oh, and I have new bulbs in. I had blue for the longest time, and they really did a large amount of sucking. I went back to red, and I'm so happy. The AEM boost gauge on the bottom of the column has a dimmer for when I turn the lights on, so it was set as dim as it can be...sorry about that. Also, for some reason the lights on the console look irregular. They aren't that way in person....the LCD is though. I might change that back to blue, it looks cool having some red, some blue...like the cruise light

old plugs were at .030-.032 or so, I got new plugs and gapped them at .021-.023 and I have no sputter or misfire or anything at 7 climbing to 10psi by redline. Virtual Dyno puts me at about 190hp now, and I REALLY love the way the car feels.
One of those old 80's turbo porches that are the VW ones wanted to mess around with me today...totally dusted him, I know...I know...doesn't count because it's a crappy Porsche in poor shape, practically falling apart. When I tell the story though, "my car out-accelerated a Porsche".

My clutch is slipping.......................................... .................................................. .................................................. .................................................. .................................
New clutch is in, and it feels pretty good. The MB8-XTSS has this sticky or chattery engagement though, that makes me think something is wrong, but everyone I talked to who has it says theirs is very similar.
Either way, I'm just happy it actually all works after it was in pieces in my garage all last week. Starting my new job on Monday, so I had to get it done so I can make it there....at 7am....in the morning....Still, I'm wicked excited about it.

Not sure what you mean by that? Mine doesn't seem to make any noise that I can hear. However after breakin mine started to feel like it grabs at the last second so with that and the light weight flywheel its kind of a pain for city driving.
I just have a resurfaced flywheel, not a light-weight.
I do have a little vibration from about 1050rpm until 1300 or so, regardless of the car being in gear, neutral, or letting the clutch out. It goes away above 1300 or below 1000, and it really feels like a motor mount. Maybe I tore something while wiggling the engine around in there, so I might try filling the rear mount with window weld (front is already filled).

My front and rear torque mounts are filled with the 80a urethane and I couldnt be happier, I LOVE it. Only thing now is I cant lug it on takeoff anymore I have to feather the throttle. Once Im moving it feels normal. Better throttle response too
I know this may sound stupid, but I just solved my cold idle and take off dips. The iscv values for " in drive" seem to affect the clutch being engaged, so setting those to stock Lancet values instead of EVO fixed it. Simple thing, but I feel like I am driving a stock Lancet when out of boost again, couldn't be happier.
