Ha, yeah you do. 03 lances runs much more "evo" ish timing than I do. I actually have English Racing helping me, although I can't share the end result of that unless they said I could....basically just getting started though. Also, I've got my knock sensors closer to what 03lances has than I did previously.

Well, I got about 1 step closer today. At 6psi, I'm estimating 160 hp on the current tune. It's not knock free, I see 1 or 2 counts sometimes...but they really appear to be false. They are in different spots, and knock voltage hardly moves, it's a rock solid line, so I'm thinking noisy *** little engine is just messing with me. More research on that later.

As far as the ECU controlled boost. I started at 20% WGDC, then 30....50....60....70....80...90?.......and finally this evening, I went ahead and set from 4000 up at 100% WGDC because I was seeing virtually no noticable change in boost at all previous levels. Well, sure as shipwreck, I did see around 8 psi on 100% WGDC...before I hit the violent boost cut! Scared me out of my gym shorts just about, but hey...I knew it was coming...I mean, I'm the one who set it incase something went haywire.

Anyway....going to have to do more research, more looking, etc to find out what to do...maybe a boost leak check is in order, although...I dunno. I've set WGDC back to 0% for now though, so I don't hurt anything driving around tomorrow. Also, it didn't jump to 8 fast....it sort of slowly inched up to it, so...I dunno.

So, My piping is way cleaner now. The UICP goes right through where the coolant expansion tank was, and it fits so much cleaner that way. The intake pipe goes up underneath, and sits nicely on those little perches. The one thing that sucks, is finding a spot for the coolant tank. I have it behind the batter, but there really isn't much to attach to there. I think if I were to drill some holes it might work better, but I just didn't want to do that tonight.

So I dont have the sound on atm so couldnt hear it but watched it. Not bad looks like it raised the pipe up some on that side too yes? I have my recirc pipe with the hose turned the other way so not sure how that would work for me but def looks more direct. One question though why not an evo 5 style radiator when you did the switch to move that outlet over?

The pipe is high enough I might could put that panel crap back in o block mud and stuff.

I guess just since my pipe for the upper was okay before, I figured just leave it as is. Think my manifest is a hair different than yours.

you should be able to fit the evo over flow on the left side of your bay and I think there are 2 screw holes you can use

Ordered the Evo coolant tank....also, I need new spark plugs I think. I get this lovely sputter at 8psi, not at 6psi though. It's just these slight dips where it feels like it misses one revolution or something. "sputter" it might be called.

Also, the sound of spool is crazy cool with the gm3port in, much quicker, and much more "boosty" sounding. It's probably the 2psi increase, as soon as I get it running nice and thick at 8psi, 10psi is next...

old plugs were at .030-.032 or so, I got new plugs and gapped them at .021-.023 and I have no sputter or misfire or anything at 7 climbing to 10psi by redline. Virtual Dyno puts me at about 190hp now, and I REALLY love the way the car feels.

One of those old 80's turbo porches that are the VW ones wanted to mess around with me today...totally dusted him, I know...I know...doesn't count because it's a crappy Porsche in poor shape, practically falling apart. When I tell the story though, "my car out-accelerated a Porsche".
