Cool news, I'm surprised myself that the SD setup is more responsive. The maf setups must really struggle with airflow reading issues on your cars if its feeling this much better.

It definitely did for mine....and Bandit seems to be having the same positive results from the MAP I sent him.

aww damn. I got buy new top mounts for my ksports before I start thinking about going SD again. The maf definitely turned me off on the car for the last 3 months. So far the past month it has set doing nothing besides me turning it off and on.

Something! because I left scaling alone in that area and only tweaked it in the higher levels. It's 100% without a doubt better than a MAF set up.

Yeah, I try to keep things in shape on the car. Theres no use in doing all of these modifications and then let the car go to ****. They're in their prime and need maintenance.

Dude, trust me I know the feelings. Makes you feel everything was in vain get you dont see the results you want. But I promise, this is the fix here. This should have been part of the parts list. Well, IS now part of the parts list for Auto guys.

And just tonight my alternator failed just as I was on my way home from the grocery store. I was hoping I could make it home in the 20 minute window before systems failed because I damned sure didnt want to have to call a tow truck! But it did, so now...I know what I'm doing this weekend.

This may sound like a newbie question, but how do you install the MAP sensor? How does it get wired? Does it replace the existing map on the throttle body?

Progress Sway bar

Got this in the post today $244 shipped to my door. From Progress themselves!

To my surprise stronger perches included! And whats that in the middle? New bushings and bolts! I really didn't expect those! The more I buy more things from other companies and businesses the more I wonder why we even messed around with RRM in the first place. Especially with their lies and shoddy customer service. There should be no reason to give them any business. At least of mine. You guys do what you want.

One thing that is a little bit of a downer is I was expecting no perches so I was going to have Beautiful Punk fab me up some perches. That wont be the case now. We were excited for that project too.

But on another note, man that alternator! Friday night I got the warning and limped it home. About a 20ish minute ride. Saturday morning ordered it but I couldnt get to that side of town until That late afternoon. Got it around 5 had it in by 7:30 but the only thing to do was tighten the bolts but it was getting dark so I'd do it in the morning. Sunday I tighten the bolts and belts and go to turn her over and the battery is dead. Okay, I can see it being drained since it was a 20 minute ride back home. Try to jump it and it wont stay on. Friend comes by and we give it about a 15 minute charge and it wont stay on. WTH?! So its sunday night and I have no choice really but to miss work tomorrow. Monday comes and I take the battery back since its still under warranty and their machine tells them to give it a 45 minute charge, so they do that and its still showing little improvement. So they give me a new battery and suggest I come up and get an alternator/starter check. Why not? So I put it in, everything's green. Go back up and they tell me my alternator isnt giving a reading....OKAY...I'll stay on the lookout for a new alternator. Head back home and the alternator warning comes back on!

I immediately swing back around and head back to the parts store. New alternator from you guys, WHATS UP?! They say it may be a bad one and the only way to test it is to take it off. Man, its 7 oclock and I DO NOT WANT TO DO THAT. So I thought well the problem started with the old one so lets start there. We test it and it comes back good! WTF? So why did I get a failure warning? She starts going down her troubleshoot list and says some cars may have a secondary fuse between the battery and alternator. And it hits me, theres a 100 amp fuse in the engine bay from my old stereo shop relocating my battery. I look and that b!tch had melted! I just checked it 2 weeks ago when I did my speed density install. Im positive I would have noticed it since I was working on the charge pipe right next to it. They said thats my culprit. So I limp it back home and first thing this morning I make an appointment at another audio shop to fix that fuse. They tell me the previous shop should have never used that type of fuse and instead used a 250 amp link fuse since there is too much current for the 100 amp fuse. They swap it in 30 minutes and everything is butter. So new alternator is going to stay on since the OEM has 168k on it. The joys of a modified car.

Amen to this brotha, I kept getting the run around with getting a straight answer from them about my front RRM strut brace so I finally said screw it and took matters into my own hands. My poor bar is going to have to be repainted but its almost fitting good just a couple more tweaks. This is after sending them crystal clear pics with my DSLR showing them the discrepancy in measurements using a tape measure.

Sway bar is one of the best mods for a lancer you can get. I’d say more than springs or coils even. The car rotates way better with it.
