Oh man! Crazyness! So one day last week headed home turned on a little ac and kind of noticed my temp gauge start to rise a bit. I thought it was odd considering a have a dual core radiator and both fans going full blast but I made it home and didn't think much of it.

Come to today swung by the store for lunch and on the way back temp Guage was elevated. Now that's really strange considering I didn't get on it at all and pretty much coasting with the windows down. Got back to the office and it was still elevated. Popped the hood with it still running to check things out. No leaks or drips, fans blowing... Come back to the cabin and the needle is damned near top! Turned it off. Here I am now.

I'm thinking thermostat?

Yes start with your thermostat and I would also do a coolant flush to be sure you dont have any blockages in your system.

Here's a pic of my feed line for 02 DSM. Sorry it took so long. I'm also adding it to the how to thread.

Sorry, I'm not giving out my map. My map wouldn't be a "starting point" it'd be a pretty much final, unless youre going to be doing 13 psi plus. Thats uncharted territory for me. lol

Oh! Whats up man? Yeah, its the stupid stuff man. Let me set up the story, So if you look back a few posts or so I had an issue where my wastegate needed more tension. I thought my wastegate flapper had sheared or something so I unbolted the turbo to inspect.

Well while it was off I added a bolt to the turbo that I had sitting around. (The one that bolts to coolant line to the actual turbo itself it the back) It didnt need that bolt but I said why not. So I put the turbo back on and more a good while things were gold.

Until I noticed the car starting to warm up. I was stumped. So that day I posted about it I was at work. End of my shift I got curious and checked the coolant level and didnt see anything. The hell?

Looked under the car and no puddles so I was puzzled. Went and picked up some more coolant double checked the radiator, nothing burning off or leaking. So filled it up and went on. 2 days later I double checked and we're low again!

So I stayed around after the car was off for a little bit then I start seeing drips! I get under and see the rubber coolant hose was leaking. Oh! The bolt I added brought that hose closer to the block and after a month of vibrations finally nicked it. I replaced the rubber hose and we're back to normal. That one bolt!

Check the sticky. I believe I added the info there. And no offense folks but questions regarding piecing your kit together ask in your thread or in the sticky. It's there to help you put together your kit.

Yeah, I've kinda fell off with the meets. I'm down to come but it still won't be for a little while. I'm training for a tournament in mid March. I host on Thursdays for the rest of the community on Thursdays. If that dies down I'll come back out.

Thats a wrap

Well I recently bought a new ride

2010 Ruby Red Subaru Legacy GT (LT leather package)

Came with a few extras like Rally Armour flaps, retrofitted Halos for the HIDS, coilovers, and wheels and tires.

BUT I didnt sell the lancer. I still have her! I'm just going to take her off the road for a little while and fix her up.

But enough of that. Here are some pics. Enjoy!

Nice. Let me know if you need anything for the Legacy or any help with it. I work at Subaru now.
