So maybe I should retune my injectors and leave my maf setting as the evo8?

If you are using the evo MAF, you should be able to use the exact evo MAF scalings. I did so, and had no issues except for at idle, but that was most likely due to the honeycomb being ripped from my MAF, and not registering 25hz, or 32 or whatever it is, only 35 and up.

I used the same scalings that are in the evo tephra rom. Not the one u gave me but the original tephra rom values. But my afrs are sup rich when im giving it gas. So should I leave it and do injectors?

It's hard to say without knowing more. But, basically, if you have a Evo 399 maf, you should use the evo scalings for maf and compensation and sensor filtering. If using that you are rich, then let us know what your scalings for injectors are and latency and what injectors they are. Also, do you have the "accel enrichment (incorrect)" from the lancer or the evo in your rom?

car isn't idling or cruising in stioch.... i have the trims adjusted close to 0.

when i start the car it idles at stioch but then it will drop down to 14.1 and fluctuate around there.

also once it warms up the vacuum goes from -18/-19 to around -12.

any help would be great

vac leak.. big one.. check the injector gromits if everything else is actually connected.

ur pulling -18 vac during warmup cuz the car is at a higher rpm more then likely. once its drops down ur screwed. tune isnt good enough to handle a air leak. its somewhere after the maf, and before the exhaust (laughs)

sorry... grey goose got me lit!

ur lucky its causing an idle issue.. mine acts normal excpet when in boost, i shoot bigger louder fireball misfires. that i can see light up the road. beside me.. LOL

hahahahahahaha.

well i changed the EGR valve thing in ecu flash to 0 to disable it and now its back to the correct cruising AFRs...

if i have a bad EGR can that cause the bad vac? i think so

i really dont want to buy a new one for $200

Had mine disabled, but still connected. No issues like that for me, cept maybe startup, but that could be unrelated.

well i re enabled it and it works fine.

i did a leak test today with no luck... it must be in the tune i guess.

at one point i was idling at -12 vac then it just dropped down to -19 for like 7 seconds or so then went back to where it was.

I might be having the same issue was you because I was unable to find any vac leaks and I'm idling the same as you at about -17 to -18

hopefully you figure it because I have been unable to.
