thanks guys! i have the intercooler piping and intercooler installed.

i have the turbo and manifold mounted with oil feed/return. coolant feed return.

i have just been having trouble with the downpipe. first i had to find a impact wrench to get the catback bolts off. then I struggled for a few hours with the o2 sensor. finally just used a pipe wrench and hammer

then i had to go and buy weld in o2 bung and get bolts to mount it to the rubber bushings.

now im working on making the 2.5 flange fit my 2.25 catback. almost done.

then i will hook up the intake pipe and put the spark plugs and 460 injectors in on thursday/friday.

hopefully i can get some help on here to tune my 05. i have a 399 maf in the mail should be here soon.

as for the brace if it does help i would highly recommend any body with a welder and drill to give it a shot. just remove the downpipe and u should be able to do it!

i ended up using 2 3inch pieces of steel 1 2inch and 1 1inch so a foot could do ya

I'll add more pics tomorrow. sorry if this is a WALL O' TEXT

i paid 30 for the tig bead with 10 an since I dont have one. and i used black gasket sealant.

also i know u can use a 45 degree bend on the return but don't it will cause a kink. I had to cut mine down and currently waiting for a 90 degree.

i extended the front o2 wired just with some 18awg wire and heat shrink. still have a cel tho because of no cat. thinking about getting a high flow weld on. especially if it sounds like rice.

it wont sound ricey bro your turbo muffles the sound and makes it have a deep rumble, just depends on the muffler

watch the feed line rubbing on the intercooler pipes...imma have to replace mine this week, it also touches the water pipe but its not making a dent or anything yet.

Where are you running the line from? Got any pics?

I welded a cat up to fit mine, from exhaust to downpipe length, custom for the longer evo downpipe, and I love it. The inspection laws in texas, especially in like dallas, austin, houston are fairly strict, so having my emissions come out so nice and clean is awesome....don't have to find a "buddy" to do it.

Smoke can be normal, or could be an issue....depends. I ceramic coated all my stuff, so obviously that was what my smoke was doin.

Sound wise...i really love the rumble our 4cyl's have. I was so worried it would sound like a honda, but it sounds great with the turbo inline.

definitely make sure the oil feed isn't touching anything hot, especially the exhaust. Some people have melted it.

Make sure you change as few things at once as possible. Don't swap maf's just yet, get a decent tune on the lancer maf....same with injectors if possible, make sure it's running, and do as few changes at once as you can.

I want pics....now

^^^I agree. Just a good rule to go by so if something starts acting rough you can more easily pinpoint it.

As far as smoke any install you do with a part that heats up its going to smoke just a little from the oils and stuff on your hands. And if you have the speed corps mani yeah! That is going to smoke because of the laquer thats on it. Its going to do that for about 10-15 minutes while changing color.

I even thought I had some coming out of the exhaust but it just happened to be condensation.

Pics!

Pics!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My cousin also like the sound of the car with the turbo on it. The first time he came by the house and hear it idling he was taken back by it. He had been making fun of me for putting the turbo on the lancer but when he heard it he was like "It sounds like a beast just sitting here". Hehe.
