I have the 440s for it but I thought I should wait on those. I really don't know what im doing with the tuning. I haven't flashed anything yet at all. Just been getting places and staying out of boost.

The 4g94 will support 7lbs on the stock injectors with a 5ht or up to 15lbs on 440 injectors with a good tune. also try the rrm emu splitsecond tuner

Idle can be iscv, vac leak, or MAF issue. Building boost can be bad timing or off fuel

Changing low or high octane maps? Base rom uses low. Diverted being crushed prevents it from opening as easily, but holds at high high boost.

If you are wot and only 3 psi, you could have a leak, or crazy off timing.

Don't freak too much on not building boost yet then. In ecuflash you can adjust the timing where you see knock using the [ and ] keys or there are many other ways. Watch recompile's videos on tuning an evo and adapt that for your car...obviously ignore things like reducing timing right away, since what I sent you should be very conservative.

Also, what's your boost gauge read with the car off? What about at idle(when hot)?

You might need to get a 9bov that isn't crushed. His vaccum sounds like its good. I'm guessing its the bov?
