So that's why I've gotta use the additional injectors like an FMU.
or you can use a system like the one explained here:

I actually have that Aeromotive Digital FMU but didn't want to install an inline fuel pump to use it. I got it at a great deal so I couldn't pass it up. (Just in case I decided to install another pump later.)

Just to update...

I had everything installed, but I wasn't satisfied with the piping so I'm redoing it. I have everything else ready to go. I'm such a damn perfectionist.

Well it's been a long 2 weeks working on my turbo project...

Fabrication is the most time consuming aspect of the entire install.
Here are a few pics of the almost complete project. Enjoy!

For those that have installed turbo kits on their car...

When first cranking the car should I have anything unplugged in case it revs real high when I first plug the battery back in so it doesn't overboost? I'm not sure what size spring is in the actuator (the guy I bought it from didn't tell me).

umm, you should crank the engine a couple times without starting so you can flow some oil into the turbo.

at idle, even though your rpms go up, you can't be pushing that much exhaust because all the extra air that makes the rpm go up comes from your Idle Air Controller, and that's not a whole lot. it's much easier to spin the crankshaft when it's not connected to your transmission and wheels(neutral).

Ok guys I'm trying to start it up now but...

It turns over but it won't crank.

The only splicing I've done is with the slim fan and I had to relocate the front O2 sensor from the manifold to the down pipe. We've checked for spark and all. I'm thinking it might have to do with that 255lph fuel pump...I've got about an 1/8 of a tank of gas and the car has been sitting on ramps for the past 2 weeks...

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

Travis

check your crank angle sensor? double check your extra injector controller wiring. no rpm signal, no fuel.

Ok I got it. The pressurizer in the fuel pump assembly had fallen off in the tank, but it's fixed now. It's throwing a CEL, but I believe it's the O2 sensor cuz there are some exhaust leaks I'm working on right now.

We have ignition!

Everything is on except the additional injector controller (just wanted to make sure it would crank before I did that). BOV releases at about 4000rpms sitting still, haha it's sweet. Makes a chikah chickah chickah sound. I haven't driven it yet, still gotta get all my body parts back on and it's too dark to see. The only thing now is the CEL it's throwing. I'm gonna run to Advance or AutoZone and have them check it out, but I believe it's the O2 sensor from the exhaust leaks. I'll try and have possibly some video and sounds here pretty soon!
