It's also a much better indicator of fuel ratio than those stupid A/F gauges that have only three readings.

More questions for you, Ryan. 1) Are you still runnin 87...or do you run 93 pump? 2) If you're using af meter...where did you tap the O2 sensor?

For anyone with turobo...needing advice.
3) What's a safe ratio to run on full throttle? 4) what's a safe ratio for reg driving?
5) Does anyone have suggestions for other electronics for going turbo? ie: wideband, safcII, etc etc? Thanks.

I run 93 grade 24/7 nothing less, boni the end tanks dont stick out, the piping sticks out, and no the zip ties were on sale for 30.00 a piece so i couldnt pass up that deal. And i thought this is where u talk tech not trash i am happy to give info , ive been real about the kit, told u the bad and the good so boni ur comments are not needed. Fevo 7 to awnser ur other question i tapped a hole in the down pipe and welded a nut to the outside of the pipe so the sensor just screws into the pipe.

well you either need to get a new bumper or new end tanks so the piping doesnt hang down, for 2 reasons. 1. it is ugly, 2. you can hit something cause it hangs down pretty low and if that happens u are screwed if it busts a hole in the pipe but maybe it will only blow the boot off. you are just tryin to say that the kit is great and you know that there are things that need to be changed dude .. with a kaminari, ken style, etc.. im sure it would look good though just be carefull cause that hangs pretty low. also you said it is supposed to be a full kit and it seems you had to fabricate alot of things, just my opinion if you dont like then scroll past it.

Yeah i pondered that myself. I dont want to pay for a kit that says direct bolt on and then im going to have to mod it. That defeats the purpose of DIRECT BOLT ON. Not knocking the kit at all i was actually talking to Jesse about the kit, quick e mail replys and all that, but i dont want to have to mod stuff for my car. So what exactly did you mod or fab yourself?

Cool, but i have been real and said what sucks about the kit on every discussion. Yeah its not a road race kit, theirs is awsome looking but i chose my kit for 2800 and yes it has a few down falls and u have to be somewhat mechanically incline to install it but to me its worth it every day i drive it . The road race kit is better put together and a direct bolt on, i didnt have 4200 at the time but after 15 hours of install i wouldnt trade it for the world. I love driving that car under boost everyday ,ITS FAST. As far as the zip ties those are because of the pressure in the block from boost blow out the dipstick and boe said they use a catch can, so until then i dont want oil all over. I have said everthing bad about the kit on all my topics and been pretty hard on the kit, but to me it was worth 2800, any questions im willing to be honest about and have been honest about . Talk to yall later.

Before i forget a big plus about the kit though is the turbo manifold is very nice. Tsi kit has a few things u work on just like the welding on the road race kit, it works great and looks great but u still have to some fab work so its what ever tickles ur fancy see ya.

As long as u had an intake before thats all u will need because u have to make the piping piece together so the maf is where its at on my car, besides that 2 extra gaskets from auto store for the short down pipe and i chose to run an inline fuel pump. The 2 gaskets make the down pipe fit though.

The piping will work if u use some from an intake and the piping from tsi ,because the maf was not reading right due to the blowoff valve behid the maf, now with the valve in front of the maf it doest stumble and bumble from reading only the air that goes into the motor , before it was telling the motor what was coming in but when the valve blew it off it was wrong and the computer reads wrong and doesnt idle and would want to stall.
