I would say, if it happens again take it back to the dealer and have them check it out.

Sounds like you've got a fuse problem or a wire touching another wire when the bass hits just right...strange.

hm.......

if you have that much bass going on, you could use a cap (capacitor) on your amp and that might prevent the clichts from flashing.....i dunno about the e-brake light tho, that is kinda weird.

It depends on the amount of juice your amp is taking and how you have it wired. If you have a couple of Subs wired in parallel it will drop the inpediance of the amp and make it work harder, requiring more juice from the alternator. When this happens everything electircal suffers; AC, windows, lights.....

A cap may help but you may need to look into a beefy alternator.

Suggestion.....

I wouldnt try a alternator, unless you were going to go compete.....if its just a small electrical problem like ur headlights dimming out than a capictor could be useful, in your case though if lights are coming on and stuff, Id say you have a big problem, rca cable touching something else......go through and follow all your lines and see if they are safe

SpeshalK has a good point too, it may be a faulty wiring job. To make indicator lights turn off/on means that it could be a major short in the system. Check your power and ground....

One thing about caps and electricity.

A capaciator only holds and releases energy. It is a fast acting depository that works well with amplifiers because it can feed the amplifier a lot of energy when it peaks, in milliseconds...

A cap will only band-aid the issue, not fix it. Any time you add electronic components to a car, you are adding a load to the alternator. Car manufacturers only put in parts to do the job of the car, not extras, especially an amplifier.

Stock alternator only has 85 Amps , which is nothing to brag about.

Stock Alternator

follow the previous suggestions and retrace the wiring. disconnect the amp to isolate the problem. Then follow basic troubleshooting techniques. Divide and conquer by making sure one piece isn't the problem and eliminating it until you find the cause.
