Seriously. I almost feel slightly insulted for all the time I've put into this. I figured every turbo Lancer out there would've jumped all over this.

I'm not trying to down your work I'm just trying to figure out why I cant get it to work, im in the process of trying it right now , I swapped the wires and took a 96510009 eclipse ecu.. I tried using evo rom 94170008 flashed into the ecu that is what the eclipse guys do. evoscan also reads the ecu . and give readings for different sensors.

96510009
I get p0100 , p1610 , p0108

94170008
I get p0113 , p0108

both are giving no start situation.

I can't account for if an Eclipse ECU works or not in this swap. From what I read in my research, the 2G DSM guys were swapping in Evo ECUs not just flashing the Evo ROM in. The 4G64 ECU also has different pinouts from the 4G94 ECU for some of the sensors.

Those codes are for Immobilizer, IAT, MAP and MAF sensors. Those 3 sensors are some of the pinout differences between the 4G64 and 4G94 according to the FSM diagrams for both.

I bought my 04 Evo 8 ecu for 125 shipped, I don't have a tactrix cable yet, but I did just go to a bunch of local muffler shops to find a quote on welding the flange to the manifold, and I found a good shop down the street to weld it for 50 bucks! Then I need oil lines, and the tactrix and I will do the install, and swap ecus! I am sure I will have plenty of questions when I get there!

All of your hard work is really appreciated, and def glad you shared it all with us! Thanks senate! You guru you!

Ok so a little off topic but just a little.. so having the ecuflash mitsulogger and evo8 ecu, fuel pump and 440cc injectors means I DO NOT need fmu OR adjustable fpr or do I?

FMU is garbage.

The stock FPR should be enough.

FMUs are garbage. As far as an FPR, an aftermarket FPR would be more reliable to hold fuel pressure if adjusted compared to stock. Also you can't adjust fuel pressure with the stock FPR.
