You remember that you just need to change the flashing method in the xml and it will work fine.

Here's the rom:

Yes its only autos you manual guys already have all the awesome tephra patches

The launch maps is simply speed and TPS based so it would only be activated when at a standstill and flooring it. The idea behind it is to increase boost by dropping the timing when the rpms are bouncing on the 2step. Its similiar to a semi antilag setup. Once the car surpasses 5mph it cuts over to the regular timing map.

All that needs to be done to run it is enable it for the regular tephra patches.

Log with evoscan or mitsulogger whatever floats your boat. The load you want to track is 1byte just remember that 2byte doesn't exist on that rom.

The shift pressures aren't not super well defined as i stole them off a GTA rom. I think the 1-4 gears are right but the 5th gear one looks like its off so don't try it :P.

Up shift pressure and decrease shift time down to 20 and it should shift hard and fast like a GTR or something. You can just up shift pressure until it feels like its too violent.

I think the octane maps you should adjust both no one knows if the car only uses the low octane one only or not. Since you have a different MAF you'll need to fix that as the stock maf settings are for a stock AT lancer.

Yeah... you've used ecuflash before right?

I think you may want to read a tutorial based on your questions.

The stock options for launch are good far as thresholds.

2 step your car and log what load and rpm it bounces at and lower the timing down there really low like -5 degrees that will build boost when 2stepping a lot faster.

I'm surprised honestly your thinking about it as this would definitely give you more traction issues at launch.

goto the ecuflash forum and look for the how to tune an evo sticky it will teach you the basics. While the raw ignition numbers wont match for you it will show you the direction of how its done.

I know the 8817 one didn't work right so it could have been saving you by idling incorrectly. Sounds like your running lean but without logging and making it work its probably not going to idle for you.

You i hope modified the maf size as well.

You've tasked yourself with something fairly advanced for a starting point.
