i went to c:\program files\EvoScan\EvoScan v2.8 and it doesnt have the xml file here, is there another place??
Found it lol

New XML include idle stepper table.
Carl T said when he was testing the GT-A rom he could make it start when it was hot by adjusting that table. So i've included it and fixed a number of Async table issues including the rpm adder which was wrong.

Your the man spike! Im going to copy my timing and fuel maps into the new ROM and give that a shot! In the meantime, here is the FULLY WARM MUT9A, and 9B log:
Hey spike when i put the new XML into ECUFlash i cant view anything, the values are all scrambled, if i change the data "endian" from "big" to "little" i can view the values correctly, however there are cirtian scaling in which i get this message:
"The forward and reverse scaling functions you have specified do not appear to result in the same values when passing them through both functions. This will cause incorrect information to be displayed AND written to the ROM when using this scaling. Do not use this scaling until the problem is corrected"
I get this on various scalings, the first one i got it on was "MAF hz" But i cant view anything in the tables unless its in the "little" data endian, should i change the values to "little" anyway even though it gives me that message?

Ok, so here is the log when the car is "warm" with the new 8187 ROM you provided, which table to i need to adjust, because the car wont start at all, im thinking its getting WAY too much fuel from one of the tables cuz if you look at the log you will see the WB just goes peg rich, the IPW is like 64ms at 154*F and in ECUFlash around that temp in the IPW vs coolant temp the value is 6.3ms, any ideas?

Not sure whats going on there I tried the xml at my work so a different computer and it was working fine. You didn't have to use a new rom if you already patched your old one the xml was simply to get the idler stepper table back.
I'm sure its richer at start now becuase i never took the time to put the limp home table in the rom and the latency base either. I'll just do that now and put the move table function code back in the xml.

Use the attached PIC there

sorry man i might have just forgotten from switchin ROMs back and forth ill change that now.Spike Should i continue to use 0x18 for injector base and the evo injector latecys? (lancer values x .625) and the evo limp home table as well. the start IPW latency ms is 864, i was using 432 before, which is correct? Thanks for taking the time to help me out i really appreciate this
EDIT:: Hornstar, thanks for the refresh, ill switch to AirflowHZ, well i have to add it i dont see it anywhere in the ROM scalings but ill add it in and it should be all set

Hornstar im confused about what you mean? I should not use MAFhz scaling, and need to use AirflowHZ instead? i dont remember you saying this

Anyways posting xml and download link with rom with updated table values for limp home and injector.

You should just continue to you use your old rom. You patched it right?

And yeah i just put the new updated rom you posted a few posts up into the "lancer" folder and just overwritten the old 8187 XML all my settings are still saved in there and i see the new ilde stepper table, thats the new one right?

If we get different values at cold start we can maybe draw a conclusion.
You may want to just simply copy the table from the 9417 rom for the idle stepper to see if it has any effect.
Well by old do you mean the stock tephra values that included the stock lancer settings? Or do you mean old as in all the info you had me input into the rom? Currently im using the 0x18 injector base and the evo battery latency values, also the evo limp home table values.

I doubled checked the endian for you big is working for me thinking it should work for you too. Idle stepper is new and some idle stability control like max timing and stuff.
Well taking a look at this isn't promising for our hopes. It looks like everything is completely normal. The only fuel pump relay I know for absolute fact is the 9B mut being 1 for fuel pump relay 3 which is the low power side. Looks like mut 9A fires up with 128 and connects to the same Port F as the relay three really only one bit away so its probably fuel related too thinking that bit is the pump.

Will do, im going to update my xml and im going to take a cold start log and hot start log, do you want me to log 9a and 9b as well?
