Valve Cover Problem

RRM Valve Cover Problem

I am stumped at this and looked everywhere and found nothing.

I got a powder coated valve cover from RRM and I noticed something strange about it. My original valve cover had a small (welded?) pipe on the top of cover that attaches to a PVC hose. This one from RRM had no pipe but a hole there instead. What the heck is going on?

They sent you a Mirage valve cover instead?

Contact RRM, or buy the PCV valve from a Mirage.

(No, I'm serious - the 4G93 looks just like the 4G94, but it has a plastic PCV that attaches to the valve cover with a rubber grommet)

Why would they do this to me? I dont mean to attack RRM but I ve got nothing except problems/mistakes/discrimiation and really poor quality of services from them ever since....


Starting to feel fedup

if you've had other issues with them then call and talk to ROB personally. He'll get you the right valve cover and send out a slip for shipping it back. That way you don't encure any further costs. After that you'll be set but also ask for a free hose kit or something small for your troubles. Maybe free shipping on your next purchase. Something... i'm sure he'll oblige.

Same valve cover, different PCV if anything. The Mirage valve cover I had was identical to my Lancer one. They probably just forgot to put a PCV back on it. It's like a $2-$5 oversight.

why didnt you try to contact them first, i dont understand why people always ask questions here, when they can call RRM right away, and get it answered, just doesnt make sense

well i rather ask here because I have difficultes calling RRM. I m deaf and I use relay service and RRM picks up the phone and say "no we arent interested" and hang up.
