Cut it! Replace with something stronger/better.

Yeah I swear they use like tin or something for the battery terminal bolt. I did a decent job of stripping mine when I was installing my sound system. It still is managable, I just have to be careful. It is such a soft piece of crap tho...

dremel it, then just go to home depot and find a nut and bolt combo that fits and isnt made of cheap *** soft steel. Stainless or if you can find it brass.

replace it with a real battery terminal, thery'e only like 3 bucks at a local auto parts place. If you want to do it right, get the kind that you have to solder the ground lead into it.

probly about the same price for the terminal, then you'd need a propane torch and some solder. Heat the terminal until you can melt the solder into the connection, then shove the wire in. Let cool while still holding the wire in, so that it doesn't come back out inadvertently. (and use pliers to hold it).

I'm sorry, but if you have to ask that question, have someone do it for you. Soldering an important connection isn't something for amateurs.

Agreed

and to add to that, if you havent learned that you are supposed to use the proper tools for the job yet, replace your terminal bolt, install it with the proper tools and chalk this up as a learning experience.

PSST. if you use wrenches rather then a pair of plyers/vicegrips/channel locks...etc. It should have never stripped in the first place.
