First off is idle steady? Second off AFC may not be tuned right. Not sure why you have it but check into that. Then check for vacuum leaks.

the idle is steady...... afc hasn't been tuned yet just installed on the car havent changed anything as far as A/F goes..... I'm assuming I just need to adjust something on the TB a little but I figured I would ask if anyone else had to do anything like that with theirs

You can turn down the idle on the t.b. There is air mixture screw facing up. IT is ususaly under a rubber plug. Just turn it clockwise until idle is closer to 1000rpms.

just figured I would let any one that may be wondering know what I have noticed .... there is no difference in the sound of the engine after I installed that I can tell (for me that was a plus) noticable gains on the highway at high rpms... it was kind of an expensive mod for what you get IMO but I think it will be worth it in the long run

ok I ment to mention this to you guys I couldent use the throttle body spacer that I bought it didn't seal the IM and TB.... I talked to accolade sports parts and they told me to contack RPW so I did and they asked me to send them a pic of the spacer and stock gasket here is a pic of the spacer and the stock gasket that I sent them ( the reason the spacer didn't seal was because it doesn't have the little tab on the left side of it like the stock gasket

now that I have sent them that pic they want a pic of the throttle body but I'm not taking my car back apart.... . if anyone could scrape up a good pic of the manifold side of the throttle body for me I would greatly appreciate it

YEA that spacer really is not right. Lancer Manual is very specific on gasket placement. You cannot even have it flipped backwards or it will cause a problem so that spacer would cause a problem for sure.

I hope I put the gasket in right...... what happens if it were flipped backwards? wait.... there is on;y one way it can go on and line up right? cause everything lined up good so I should be ok right?
