RRM Short Ram Intake discussion thread
Man you have sold me expect my order on pay day next week. In all honesty I guess most people run to these companies because they beleive they offer support in the event of a problem and have a warranty or return policy if not satisfied. I really did not know a lot of this information that I am receiving now about CAI and SRI. Man it took me a minute to figure out what SRI was as in the acronym. So Rock your recommendation is to not wait for the CAI because the SRI which you offer takes in so much air it cancels out heat.

^^isnt a CAI somewhat possible if the battery is relocated? i would think that someone who is determined to find a possibility for a CAI will find a way.

hey rock i just got my intake, installed it, and WOW! it's a monster the sound is amazing and you can def feel the difference over the stock. BUY THIS PRODUCT you will not be disappointed! RRM
I think the Muffler is bolt on, Am I correct, the intake is not that hard at all to install all you do is take the stock airbox out them move the air sensor to the new intake. Not hard at all, all you need is basic hand tools. Rock tell me if im right here ?
The only thing to be careful of is the maf sensor they are delicate and expensive. don't have your car on the on position when unplugging the sensor or you might get a CEL. You probably want to disconnect the negative battery cable before you do anything. It is not a big deal, you just don't want to arc the battery to anything since the ECU is very close to the air filter
) take your new RRM exhuast(be careful put a towel down if your not doing this on a lift) slip it up to the flang put new bolts in but dont tighten them till you hang the exhuast so then hang it, then tighten the bolts till your hand hurts (needs to be good and tight because of vibration) and then jump in your ride and haul @ssThe only thing to be careful of is the maf sensor they are delicate and expensive. don't have your car on the on position when unplugging the sensor or you might get a CEL. It's always wise to unhook the battery. It prevents shorts/shocks in the electrical system and also resets the ECU so the car relearns A/F curves when you turn it back on.
TO unplug t he MAS just make sure the car is oFF! When you are cutting wires lalala, then disconnect the battery. As for the intake, my Mom could install it, but then she is MY Mom.
