Well, since you joined EvoM last month, I think we can give you a pass.

RRM is the name in Lancer parts. You might find a few parts here and there with other vendors, but RRM is the spot for "one stop shopping."

Definitely. They were the first to come out with parts when I got my '02 and I was totally pleased with everything I bought. I'm expecting nothing but the best when I start buying for my '08 and I know RRM won't disappoint!

no they don't include them. you don't need them either. it's a matter of unscrewing and removing less than a handful of things. very simple.

A few people have said this but no one seems to be in a rush to show what the intake can actually do. Everything so far is a post relating to the phrase "I can totally feel it".

Well you have to think RRM is 4 guys working there @SS's off. It's not A large manufacturing company they are doing R+D on the Piggy back ECU then they will most likely post Dyno mods with the Intake, exhaust, and ECU. This is the format they have done on the past two models. If you don't trust RRM's word then do a search on this forum and look at all of the happy customers that already own there products from guys that own the 02's to the 08's now. These aren't the new guys they have been around the block and at full speed I might add. If you have any serious questions then call RRM up and I am sure they would be more then happy to answer your questions. And if you do you will realize that they know what they are talking about. It wouldn't hurt for them OR YOU to post something as simple as "stopwatch time before and after intake install." There are claims of 1 second, but no one even posts their numbers from informal trials, ya know?

As the guy said, we're just left with people like you going "hell yeah, you can feel it" - which means nothing in the real world. I've spent 4 years on EvoM hearing people say that about everything from CAIs to ground kits to CF reflectors.

We are doing everything we can as fast as we can. As for dyno, I hope if we get 8 h.p. we do not get crucified! We will work on a dyno but I am not doing 5 dynoes for 5 items. Just no time to do that and it is not needed. Testimonials will have to do for now. Don't go look at AEMs dyno for OZ intake. You will be bummed out if you saw it.

Im glad someone else is in the real world here

I may sound like a total jackass with some of the things I say, but Im sorry, in the business world you dont make claims and not have proof to back it up. I have been paying close attention to every single thing RRM and Works say on here about their products. Personally I would love to put some kick into my Lancer while I have it, but I stopped randomly buying parts and saying "my car is fast now" a few years ago.

Whichever group provides the parts and evidence to back it up will get some of the money in my bank account

Its all good, you guys have busted *** to get products out which is cool. There are just different types of buyers out there. Even though there are tons of people here saying your products are the best for older Lancers, this is a new model, new setup, new situation. Im sure the products are good but when all I see are a few people installing the parts and saying "it sounds sick and I feel the difference", I get a little weary. Im not saying you guys need to be getting exact numbers of what you said, but if you say that Part A will get you an extra 15 HP, and then when numbers come out and it only did 6 HP, there is a question of good business practices. But really, at this point if you guys just do one dyno that has all the parts installed that you've done so far that would be awesome, because if its good Ill be buying them all anyways

until someone gets a dyno we really won't know how much hp is really added. if you say it sounds sweet, which i'm sure it does along with the rest of intakes. but if you say you can 'feel the power' thats not very convincing.

why 10hp? how did you come up with that? i wouldn't buy something knowing that it could add 10hp or 2hp, but thats just me

To Rob/RRM - please note that none of us are trying to disrespect you or your parts in any way. It's just hard to spend money when no information is offered. You're not expected to dyno every part. But even if you could roll around with a stopwatch and post those numbers, it would give us SOMETHING to work with. Some customers just don't feel safe buying parts based on "yeah, you'll like it."

You should take the lancer to a quarter mile track with before and after times. 1 second on 0-60 should translate into noticable difference in the quarter. Then people will shut up about dyno sheets.

Id be more than happy to see a modded vs stock off the line. I think that would be the quickest, cheapest and best test to do without worrying about a dyno. Granted you would need two people who know how to do a good off the line start....
