It's honestly very easy. It was helpful to have the how-to, and I'm sure the pictures I took will help you, but it's honestly pretty straight-forward.

The biggest thing my how-to will help you on is making sure you have the weird tools needed. I was just lucky that I got a set of Allen and hex wrenches for Christmas last year. Otherwise I would have been hunting for the 3mm Allen and T15 wrenches...

Shouldn't really matter. Either way, the battery is disconnected from the car and it has the same effect. Negative is just easier to get to.

NO. K &N sucks. The one time we wanted to warranty a filter 2 weeks old K & N corp said no cause we connected it to an intake that was not theirs. F them then. We try not to use K & N because of it. IT is not worth the extra money. We have some made for us. They lsat just as long and flow the same or better. PLus they cost less. We even sell them separatey if you ever need a replacement.

Cool. Trying to get some CNC parts asap so we can at least make a small batch of intakes to fill back orders.

My apologies. I could have sworn I saw Rob say something like "and we used the biggest K&N filter we could fit" somewhere on the boards.

Sorry for the bad info!

Just checked the 08 page on the RRM site - Rob says "and the kit includes the largest filter we could fit in front of the battery!"

I guess the K&N was just wishfull thinking on my part.

You were hypnotized by BIGGEST. Our OZ SRI still uses K & N cause we gots to. Otherwise K & N is not worth the money.

Do you know what Private Messages are for?

From this moment on, if you post a piece of your personal business in this thread, it is getting removed. This forum is for technical discussion, not telling the whole world about your private business matters.
