Lightbulb Worth your money?

Question for all the RRM throttle body owners. Now is the performance noticeable enough to spend 270 dollars on? I heard it was nice but 270 is a lot. Any gain on hp?

Also, there are rumors that other companies are manufacturing throttle bodies larger then 4mm, is this necessary? Should i wait or go with the RRM?

Anything else you need to modify to allow the enlarged throttle body to perform at its full potential?

sorry if this is repitive but i can decide waht i should do, any input would be appreciated

I think it is worth it. It makes everything work better. Didn't want RPW cause I think it is more $ and RRM Throttle body is a sleeper. Dealer will never know what you did to your car. I say go for it!!!

Does it really matter if the dealer doesn't know his TB is bored out? I mean, if he plans on putting on other mods (which I'm sure he is), I think they'll notice a wee bit. As for getting it, it's a another breathing mod (much like an intake, a header, or an exhaust). You'll gain power but it's only a marginal amount if that. Get it if you want.

Everyone talks big but seem to not want to void warranty that is why. We will see for real how many talkers actually buy headers. Ask him?

Getting off topic but here goes: If you're going to mod your car, why the hell did you buy a brand spanking new machine and now you're going to worry about the warranty? Eesh...it's common sense people.

Another question

I forgot to ask, what is the stock size on the throttle body if the RRM is 4 mm?

I just dont see paying 270 dolalrs for the stock throttle body modified.

**** a warranty! They have to fix whatever is a factory defect period. As long as what you did is PROVED to harm something, they WONT fix it, otherwise they have to. Don't take their BS. If you go in cuz ur tranny is ****ed up and they say "well you touched the engine's throttle body" there just tryin to get out of what you ****ed up....

Anyway, back on the topic, I plan on ordering a new TB this summer, RRM all the way =]
