i managed to mate my 4g94 sohc block with a 4G93E dohc head look

ill do a basic write up with pics

So far


Black Beauty

Another angle

Head back from acid diping, valve springs and new valve stem seals installed

Using SOHC 4g93-94 head gasket, just to show that the head bolts 100%

Close up

NGK power :twisted:

Painting finish

SOHC head coming off

Now cracked open

Head gasket sprayed with copper adhesive and dropped head on 94 block

Pose from the rear end


where we got the DOHC and Mivec conversions prices have changed already:

Mivec conversion will start on the 23rd of this month, using 4G92 RS head

Quite a lot but i cant say that until i actually push it, i have not taken the car over 3K RPM. Until i take to dyno i cant tell you, once my tuner says all good that the time. My dyno appointment is tomorrow 4pm aussie time ill keep you guys posted.

I would drop $ 1300 for this in a heart beat probably pick up some power up top plus more timing adjustment

lol 1300 or 1025 is still a pretty good deal! me and my girl are the car couple..we love cars and working on them i'd take this and just have it sitting around than start a project later on. its like you cant let this pass you by and even if you don't need it now what if you want it later and its not there nomore.
